Had my truck in on the Hoist for a week and a half finally called me and told me the adapter plate between the transmission and transfer case was cracked it is only caused by vibration wanted to charge me $150 for U-joints I hadn't had no vibrations in that truck in 9 years didn't have time to complain told him to do it as long as it was done that day showed up after work to get it was not done showed me the part that was broke was obviously a new crack so they broke the part otherwise I would have been leaking fluid like crazy so to cover the price of the new part they charge me for ujoints plus was the price they did it for was what a carry out would have cost me and I'm easy going all they would have had to told me was they broke it and I would have gave him the part to fix it instead of giving me a BS excuse about you joints and vibration

The u-joints can cause vibration and do damage to the drive train. This is common when they are defective, especially on a deiseal truck. In this case we did cover the damage it caused. The only charge was to replace the defective u-joints. We are very sorry this had happened but that is out of our control. However we did the service outside of the warranty coverage. We do apologize for the inconvenience and timeline it took to locate all the parts. Thank you.

Worst shop I ever been too. Mike told me a week and a half to fix my transmission. I had them come get my truck. Sat in their lot for 3 months, they didn't touch it. When they did touch it, they messed with my rear end, which they never should have touched at all. The four wheel drive didn't work afterwards either. The nut to the yoke on the rear end came off a few days after I got it back. 38 years that nut hung on from the factory, then all the sudden after they had my truck it comes free. I have already paid them and they refuse to fix the damages they caused. They destroyed the rear end, four wheel drive doesn't work. They even left some snap on tools still attached to the transmission. I've paid for a loaner vehicle while I have wait, costing me more than what it should have been for the transmission repair. I'm not $12,000 into a transmission fix, and my truck worse off then when they took it in. They have had it 6 months and still haven't fixed it!!! I have called the news and lawyer, I have 38 years of paperwork in this truck. I will never use these guys again, horrible service and all they do is lie. They held my truck for 2 months and didn't even had the courtesy to call and tell me they refuse to fix what they broke. Thanks for the free tools, but I want my truck fixed how you should have the first time MIKE! Worst shop ever, will used Certified Transmission next time I need transmission repair of service.

The nut on the rear end failed due to a defective rear differential. That is not dissembled during the transmission service. The truck is an older vehicle and may have other issues do the age of vehicle. We did offer a solution but you declined the offer. Thank you.

WANING: Beware of hidden charges and surcharge. On 09/09/2024 I contacted AAMCO Transmission, Inc. at 5254S. 133rd. Ct., Omaha, NE 68137 regarding an intermitting warning light on my vehicles for the Transmission Temperature/Overdrive. I spoke to their Service Advisor Brent David who I bring the vehicle to their shop and they would give provide a free inspection to determine the cause, the recommended repair and cost for the service. Later that day Brent call me and advised that the Transmission Temperature/ Overdrive sensor would need to be replaced. The cost would be $550.00 plus Taxes for the labor, transmissin fluid, a pan gasket and the sensor. Based on Brent's quote I authorized the repair. On 09/11/2024 Brent called me and said the vehicle repairs were completed and I could pick it up. Upon my arrival I was presented an Invoice for $609.54. When I questioned why this was higher than the quote Brent said that the $53.50 charge for fees was what his boss had set as their standard charge. Although upset I used my credit card to pay and was hit with another hidden Surchage of $18.28 for paying with a credit card. Had I been advise of these hidden charges with the origional quote I would have taken my vehicle to a different Transmission Shop to compair all cost, fees and surgharges before authorizing repair. Because I feel I was taken advanatage of is why I want to Warn potential customer to verify all repair quotes in writing so thay wont be mislead as I feel I was.

The standard fees are all common in our industry. Shop supplies and and credit card fees have always been associated with repairs in automotive service business. We will visit with all mangers about properly informing our customers on all services. Thank you.
