ETA given was 2 1/2-3 hours. Actual time was 6 hours. They were given the address to the repair shop to take our car to. The address was verified at least twice verbally. They reported that the car was towed to the address, but they lied. Actually towed it to their tow lot and did not inform anyone. Next morning the repair shop notifies me they don’t have our car. I try to call Ely’s and have to leave a voicemail. No one ever called me back. My insurance company finally spoke to someone there and verified they had our car and they would get it to the repair shop within the next 4 hours which would have it at the shop about 11 hours after they lied that they had towed it there in the first place I called Ely’s again 3 hours later and was told that it was on the list but they were very busy and didn’t know when they could get it to the repair shop. Ended up having to call another tow company to pick it up from Ely’s and take it to the repair shop. They told the new company that there were additional charges because they had “stored it” in their lot. Very unprofessional, sneaky, dishonest and unreliable. Will give zero stars if it will let me.Review fromSheila I

Hunter is an amazing young man. I was needing my car towed, and not having to have had this done before, I had many questions. He was so patient and kind. I hope the company he works for appreciates all his hard work.Review fromGertrude M

Very rude towards customers, don’t seem to value business from my insurance company. Took way too long to get to my kids car. Gave my insurance an estimated time of arrival then showed up way later. In between they don’t care to communicate. No apology after a +3hrs of waiting for them. I got a, “ you can cancel if you want.”Review fromGabrielle F

Ely's Towing was late to pick up my car and treated it with a great level of disrespect. My car was relatively clean prior to them picking it up. The driver made the front seat incredibly muddy from the door paneling to the gear shift, park break, steering wheel, ignition, and even the passenger seat head rest. The car was parked in a parking lot and was being towed because the starter went out. It was not in a muddy location by any means. By the amount of mud left behind by the driver one would have thought my car got stuck in a hog pen and needed pulled out. The company didn't even bother to inform me of the mess they made nor attempt to clean it. In a business where consumers are being vulnerable by putting their asset in the hands of someone they should be able to trust there should be a standard level of care and respect provided to the consumer in regards to their vehicles.Review fromChad H

Absolutely TERRIBLE!!! Geico sadly partners with them but I will be calling to cancel my roadside assistance due to Elys being so rude. They literally just had to be polite....but they couldn't manage that. Look up their reviews on EVERY other platform...everyone hates them. AVOID AVOID AVOIDEly's Towing, LLC

I spoke with my driver in length about this call. Chad had already talked to another driver who was behind due to a previous call. The call was rerouted to another driver who went right to his vehicle. Our driver states: The vehicle was unattended at a gas station (owner was not with the vehicle). Our driver picked up the vehicle, and spoke with Chad Hill to confirm where he was towing the vehicle. At arrival of the shop where the vehicle was towed to a big guy who said he was the manager of the shop sped up in a vehicle and asked what he was doing that he couldn't drop the vehicle off there. (Again Chad, the owner, was not there and only interacted with our driver over the phone) Our driver stated that he would need to talk to the owner because he confirmed that was where he was to take it. He gave the shop manager Chad's phone number and they spoke. This was the end of our drivers interaction. Chad and our driver did not speak again. Our driver was very polite (I should note this driver is always very polite, he's a very nice guy and is a great asset to our team) Our driver did also state that the owner of the vehicle seemed pretty intoxicated while he was talking to him on the phone.Review fromPooja D

Would not recommend. This tow service was selected by Geico to take our vehicle to collision center from our home. We were given time of 6 PM, nobody showed for hours. There was no way we could track them, nobody was picking up the phone as well. The guy came at 9:30 pm, should no remorse, was not apologetic. Acted as if they were right on time. We still allowed him to tow our car. In the morning, we get a call from The collision center that our car was at the wrong location!!! There is another review a week ago mentioning that the same thing happened to them. If this company hired an after hours guy, I want them to know he is terrible and I would strongly advise anyone against hiring this tow company.Review fromTyler S

My car broke down, and my insurance contacted Ely's towing. The guy who picked up my car forgot to shut the drivers side door causing it dragged against a tree when he was pulling the car up onto the tow truck. The door partially pulled off from the frame, and bent in such a way that it would not shut- making it impossible, and unsafe to drive. The incident was reported to me by the driver during drop off of the car. I reported the incident to my insurance company who has been trying to reach out to Ely for several months now and has recieved no response.Review fromJosh W

ZERO stars if I could!
In May 2022, I called Ely's Towing for help towing my boat and trailer. When the driver loaded the boat to tow, the trailer jack snapped and was permanently damaged. The driver assured me that if I submitted the invoice to Ely's Towing, they would pay for the damages. After numerous phone calls and emails, **************** Ely, the owners, were unresponsive. The total bill I had to incur as a result of the driver's error was $305. To not even take the time to respond to a customer who received this type of treatment is completely unprofessional and shows the level of customer care that Ely's Towing exhibits to its patrons. If at all possible, I recommend selecting another tow service for your needs.Review fromSandra B

My car broke down. We have roadside assistance with ********. I called them at 7:30pm and they got a tow set up for what they said was the earliest opening and was given a time frame from Ely's of 9:36 -10:06 PM. we waited and waited and waited and finally tried calling Ely's around 10:15 to no answer. We called the insurance company who tried calling them....no answer. This went on for a while at which point the insurance person said they would advise cancelation of that call and to try to dispatch another tow with a different company which could take an additional 3 hours. At that point I got a text from Ely's saying they were running late and would be there in 13 min. I told ******** let's hold off on canceling as they text saying 13 min. So we did. I then waited an additional 30 min and they still had not shown. I tried to call Ely's back and this time a man answered clearly in a bar or a party with music playing hard to hear. He then proceeded to mock me in a whiny tone telling me if we really needed to get in touch that I should have told the insurance company to just "shoot them a text" and then laughed at me. I ended that call and decided to go ahead and call ******** back to inform them that I did now want to cancel and get a new tow service. As I was on the phone I then see the tow truck driver but he passed us so asked ******** to hang on the line to see if he would come back. He did come back and in doing so drove over lawns of private companies to get to us even though we were parked right next to a road. I will be contacting that business tomorrow to let them know exactly which company was driving on their lawn. We did not get home until nearly midnight. To be snickered at and laughed at and mocked over the phone was so unbelievably unprofessional.
