    Eco Shield had two contacts that I was unaware of. I called to cancel but one contract was active with a $216 bill attached for service I didn’t want or nothing was done to my property. They state they tried to contact me in November saying the card I had on file was not active. Now, 4 months later they call and want this contract paid?
    I gave them all this information before, got zero communication that my card didn’t work. Now, I had to pay again?
    I have no way to argue that I didn’t receive any notification because I didn’t. I am diligent at checking correspondence. I feel like I got ripped off with no resolution.
    If I don’t get confirmation of this payment, I want ll take this matter to the next step.

    To provide some clarity, we do require a signed service agreement before any work is scheduled, and in some cases, multiple agreements may be initiated if service is expanded or restarted after a pause. When a card on file becomes inactive, our system is set up to generate follow-up communication, but we recognize that gaps can occur, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

    Shield is guilty of unfair and improper business tactics. Severe told that if we signed a contract for one years worth of services we could then cancel our contract. After one year we called to cancel and were then told we needed to pay for two more services to complete our contract or we would have to pay a penalty for early termination. After arguing with them they said if we paid for one more service at a discounted rate we could then cancel without penalty. After that service, when we called to cancel they again told us we would need to again pay for one more service. They are unscrupulous liars and can not be trusted.

    I think that if a business charges you for services they should do those services instead of not doing the services still charging you and when you want out of the contract because they haven't performed those services for you you should not have to pay the rest of the contract. As of now I have paid for services for outside and inside my house to be pest-free and the only thing they ever did was the outside. I tried calling them but could not reach anyone. They did not call to come back to do my inside instead they wanted to come back and do the outside again so why am I paying for services for inside and outside of my house when they are only doing the outside I should be free of the contract cuz they have literally ripped me off which is fine as long as they don't come back but now they want more money and are going to send me to a third party to collect for something they have not done.

    I have caught as many mice over the last year with them, as any year without. They won't let me cancel even after my contract is up. Nobody answers the phone.

    Poor service with this company. You can’t cancel without costing you. They tie your hands if your not happy with them. If a salesman comes to your door. Just say NO.

    This company does not have a good customer care. You call them and they are not able to resolve the issue. I was charged twice for my services and have been on the call but this person could not resolve my issue and I have been asking him whom to reach out to.

    I switched my pest service to EcoShield this summer when a door to door salesmen came to the door. Obviously a lapse of judgment, because I should have known better about getting charged $168.87 if I cancelled service before 5 treatments. I received 2 treatments, of what I don't really know because I had more pests than I did before, and when they put 2 sticky traps in my garage to control mice, I knew I had made a poor choice by switching from a company who was actually cheaper. So I did pay for the two services, but now EcoShield wants me to pay for canceling a service that didn't even work, and a couple of sticky traps. I made sure I did not give them my credit card information for this reason, and honestly feel this type of agreement is unethical, considering they want you to pay them for something that wasn't effective. I paid $337.74 for a couple sticky traps ,and while I was present for the first guy to spray for ten minutes, I was out of town for the second, so not even sure if that service happened. Beware of any company who wants you to pay them, even if there product doesn't work.

    Do not use this company! It's bait and switch
    They are promising a price and charge your credit card a much higher price. They will not refund your money and will try to tell you that you need to pay the whole contract if you want to cancel! It's absurd. Buyer beware!

    I have attempted to cancel my service with this company for 6 months. They do not do a good job with the service calls, leave gates open resulting in pets getting out, and refuse to document my cancellation request. After the second attempt to cancel, I contacted my bank to refuse payment; they sent the payment to collections. I have now resorted to recording my calls to them to ensure my credit card company will no longer accept payments. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
