  Excellent work. On time, on budget and the quality was all we could ask for. Jules built this deck with a level of craftsmanship you would expect from a cabinetmaker or a trim carpenter. It is just stunning. We could not be more pleased. Highly recommended.

  Jules just finished up our new deck in December and did a great job. He was very easy to work with, has high standards, and even beat his original timeline and got our deck done before Christmas. I would definitely recommend getting Jules out on your next deck project for a quote / estimate - you will be glad you did!

  Jules completed a deck and partial trellis a few years back. The original designer of the trellis opted not to have footings installed for the trellis. Since that time the trellis had shifted a little. I had assumed responsibility and was looking at various options. Out of the blue, Jules stopped by and said he would like to see the trellis that was installed a couple of years back because he had been worried about it shifting at the time. Jules returned and leveled out the trellis and installed footings to add more support (at his cost). Updike construction is committed to quality work and service and it shows through his follow up and great service. Highly recommended for any and all deck construction!

  Jules did a fantastic job replacing our deck. He and his assistant Wyatt were a dream to work with. They Demo'd the old deck in one day and dug the new post holes. He scheduled the city inspector to be there the next day to verify the depth of the new holes, which insured no work stoppage during the process. He really thinks through his jobs ahead of times and has superb time management skills. He and Wyatt put in full day's work always, and completed our job in 8 days (two of which were Saturday and Sunday which are normal non-working days). As a homeowner that has hired many Contractors, seeing all the typical bad behaviors by well-known Contractor names in Omaha, Jules and Wyatt get to work on the agreed time, and work full days until the job is done. What a DELIGHTFUL thing to experience in today's market! I would recommend Updike Construction to all!

  Jules did a fine job replacing some trim boards and siding on the back of my house. He was courteous and patient with all my questions. He was here when he said he would be, worked to get the job done, and clean up was super. It was a small job, but he was willing to fit me in to his busy schedule. I would recommend him highly. Ann T.
