      2024 tax year, bought Deluxe plus state for $45 online. After finishing Fed taxes and going to do state, the software wants me to pay $39 for state software (this is all before filing). I called their customer service to explain, associate keeps trying to say that is correct, even though I bought it from H & R Block's website. After back & forth for several minutes, frequently paused while the associate pretended to be doing something, she abruptly hung up. We have used the same software for years, and each time we bought the Deluxe + State, each time we got 1 state as part of the purchase. I had problems with last years purchase as well. This company is clearly run by predators unconcerned with customer dissatisfaction.
