    We had a move on October 10, 2024. There was damage on the floor of the master bedroom. We let them know as soon as we saw it. We have been in contact with Melissa and she has given us the run around. She finally said we needed to get an estimate. Fine. Then she didn’t get a copy of the estimate. So I sent it to her. Then she said they would have to look at it. Fine. Then she quit answering my calls. I got ahold of operations manager, Josh. He said he would look into it. Well here we are December 5,2024 and he has stopped taking my calls as well. This happened at the rental house we moved out of. Josh said he would contact the landlord yesterday, to see how to move forward. The landlord has not heard from him. I have been trying to get hold of anybody at College Hunks, Josh and Melissa. Melissa’s phone gets picked up but nobody says anything. Josh’s phone went to voicemail. I left him voicemails. But now is says he has a voicemail that has not been set up. Again this started October 10 and it is now December 5.

    We were scammed by this company. They quoted us a bid of $1343 and the total cost came to $2284. Items did not get moved that was in the quote to begin with and it was going to cost another $900-$1200 to move those items. Many items were left behind and we have been making several trips loading our cars to move them ourselves. We are in our 70's and 80's, so this has not been an easy task. Be very careful when dealing with this company because they give you a low estimate so you take the offer and then scam you into charging you more than what was estimated. Maybe they took an advantage of our age and pulled this scam. I will never recommend this company to anyone and I will be posting on social media to let others know how we were treated. I did email them with a complaint, but we have received no response.

    If you need a refund, call and hassle them everyday and ensure that they did it. They will hold your funds for 10 days and then put the request in, causing you to be out money that you budgeted for in your move. The reason I cancelled was because of a lack of communication from the local office. I used them because the actual movers my business used were good once. I will now be telling everyone to go with IOMS moving. They don't require a deposit and they don't get paid until your job is done.

    If you value your property DO NOT hire college hunks. They were careless in handling our furniture and destroyed a family piece that was over a hundred years old
