Well let's start with I travel a lot and love to support small local businesses when traveling.
So, to start off with, it was not busy, and the lady said sit where we would like, so we chose a table away from everyone else and sat down. The waitress comes over and gets our drink order as we look over the menu. We decide on what we want and order. The food did not take long to come out to our table which was great. As we started eating, I decided that I wanted orange juice and needed some more butter. So, I motioned for our waitress and a member of the kitchen staff came over and after I asked for more butter and my juice, she proceeded to ask my friend who is a little bigger on top to cover up that we are inappropriately dressed. Mind you I have on shorts and a tank-top and my friend has on a nice summer dress that goes to her knees. I am not sure what they expect people to wear in 83-degree weather but ok. So, then the owner is who at this time I assume she (later confirmed by my other friend she is), who also tried to say we were inappropriately dressed and said she sent the other lady over to say that. Being as we had barely touched our food my friend who felt offended and was a little embarrassed, said never mind and that we were going to leave. I said, "How can you tell someone what to wear?" My friend did not want to pay for the food, but we did and even left our waitress a 10 tip. We took the food to go, which later I realized the French toast was not the blueberry stuffed French toast I ordered and paid for. The waitress we had didn't even know what was going on. I will not recommend this place to anyone. The food was ok, not the best but good for the area. I suggest the waitress find another place to work as her boss in my opinion is a "FAT SHAMER". This owner should be ashamed of herself for even making a scene like this. From the other reviews I seen, I can see this is not the first time she had done something to embarrass herself and her business.
