Upon fixing all the problems I had with RJR Maintenance and Management, they continued their bs with me by sending people to cut my grass unexpectedly. I told them to stop. Asked if I was going to be charged ONCE AGAIN and the maintenance guys did indeed said I was going to be charged. I told them "Well get the f out of here I don't have extra money to be giving you guys for something I can do right now." I was given no heads up. No notice by RJR. As a Native American I feel absolutely targeted now.

Terrible landlords. They will try to do anything to take as much of your money as possible. They won’t fix things; and if they do it is poorly done and not in a timely manner. When problems are brought up to them, they try their hardest to come up with any excuse to try and make it right. Document everything because they’ll try to do anything to make you pay more.

I moved to Bismarck from a different state and was not aware of the reputation of this company until it was too late. My move in date was never communicated to me even though I was in contact with them for well over a month before I arrived. I had a job already to begin shortly after my arrival in Bismarck. Once I arrived at my new apartment I promptly called and asked when someone could come by to give me the keys, however, they claimed the unit was not ready for me. Despite my protesting against this, I was forced to stay in a hotel. I had already paid my deposit and was prepared to pay the first month rent, but because of this set back the money went to the hotel, transportation and fast food because I had to kitchen. Instead of realizing this grievous error on the company's part, I was charged with a late fee every month for 3 months because they decided to consider me 1 month behind until I could pay it all. I was eventually threatened with eviction. In a desperate attempt to keep a roof over my head I had to borrow money from relatives. And though they are certainly the ones fully at fault, they gave me a bad reference which is now effecting my ability to find somewhere new to live. I have had a spotless tenant record for 8 years in 4 different states and I have never encountered anything like these people. This is THE WORST property management I have ever had the displeasure of knowing.

This resident paid the deposit on October 14 and moved in to the residence on October 27th. She was not charged any rent for the Month of October. She was indeed responsible for paying Rent on November 1st. In which she refused. She even went as far as telling our collections department that they can take the "Fillings in her teeth" for rent. She was disgruntled because instead of getting a confirmed move in date, which most people who move into apartments would understand is a common practice, she showed and demanded keys the day she arrived to the area. We work on a schedule and are unable disregard prior scheduled appointments for another individual. This resident has been an issue since the day of move in, she signed a legal lease to pay her rent, with no concessions added to it, which does make her legally obligated to pay rent. The money she would have had to pay for a prorated rent would have also needed to be paid, so the payment going towards a hotel should not have put her back enough to not make payment to us for the following 3 months. This resident also tried to submit ******************************************************** their leasing documents that we require a full 30 day notice to be effective on the last day of the month. This is where this review is coming from, as we have had no complaints from her since the initial move in issue.
We as a company also cannot lie on a landlord reference, nor can we choose to rent to her on behalf of another company.
      Thank you,

Was approved for a property but when the deposit letter came to me to sign it was a non refundable deposit. Never shown the lease till after the deposit was paid. Didn’t sign but yet paid for the background check
