    *************************/123 Renovate was contracted to replace a screened porch. He started the project in Oct 2023. I fired him in March 2024 with the porch not finished and now have to find another contractor to finish the project. ******* made misrepresentations about the schedule to get a large upfront deposit, repeatedly said he was getting building permits that he never applied for, never inspected any work done on project by his subs, failed to answer or return phone calls and failed to properly manage the project. He owes me money for payments made for uncompleted work and damages which he refuses to pay. DO NOT hire *******/123 Renovate to do work for you. A one star rating is too high for this company.

    Customer failed to provide necessary documentation to complete permits. Work was completed and corrected to meet standards, porch and deck was inspected by North Carolina certified engineer. Letter was provided to customer and permit process was waiting on survey that we in multiple attempts tried to get done for them but customer stated they were getting a survey done.

    This company is run by con artists. They will take your money and either do shoddy work or they will not come back to complete the work. This is a repeated cycle for them and this is how they run their business. The so called President * Owner took $7,000 from me- performed terrible terrible work and when I told him I wanted my money back he said he didn't have it. It was used on another job. I had to hire another company to start over and finish the job. Please be aware of this company and stay clear. The father passed down the business to the son but he is no better. They both rob people then when things get bad, they change the name of their business like they just did now. Do your research on this company before you do anything else. Do your research on his name as well.
