"When Home Inspection Carolina did a home inspection in 2021, they did not follow the ** Home Inspection Guidelines for inspections which says they have to identify piping materials. When the townhome was listed for sale in 2023 and went under contract, the buyer's inspection showed the home had grey polybutylene pipes, a material that no longer can be used because of all of the lawsuits." ... "I recently closed on my first house (6/14/2023) and the inspector missed significant plumbing and HVAC issues that were only brought to my attention when i was having items worked on from the punch list based on his report. Only last week, I was notified that all the cast iron piping was corroded - only items mentioned was a leak in one part of the crawl space and one wobbly toilet." ... Read full review
