      Awful. The container was supposed to be delivered between 8am and 5pm. It showed up at 6.10pm. The man who delivered it was clearly in a bad mood and didn't want to be bothered, so, with a cigarette hanging out of the side of his mouth, he said the container would not fit in my driveway. It would have fit, anyone could see that, he just wanted to get home. DISGRACEFUL customer service.

      Service was good, sometimes a little hard to schedule but was using phone not website. That probably would have cut down on waiting. All the drivers were excellent, professional, polite and courteous. Container was a little beat up but served the purpose.

      In ******, ** I rented a 16 ft pack-rat container. The whole process from start to finish was very smooth. Everyone I talked to was professional and knowledgeable about how the process worked and their estimates were close to actual cost. Would definitely use their services again and they come highly recommended by me. Thank you pack-rat!

      I rented a storage container from 1-800-PACK-RAT in August 2023 and paid for their "Container Damage Waiver (Silver Coverage)" with $10,000 protection. After 17 months in their facility, my container arrived with holes in the walls and damaged door seals that had allowed rodents to enter. Despite their advertising of "weatherproof containers," I found rat nests, droppings, and extensive damage to my furniture and belongings. When I filed a claim with documentation showing the container defects, they denied both my initial claim and appeal, claiming rodent damage wasn't covered while ignoring that their defective container allowed the rodents in. I received zero compensation for my damaged property. Their protection plan proved worthless when needed, and they refused to take responsibility for providing a container that failed to meet the "weatherproof" quality they advertised

      I strongly advise anyone considering packrat as a container shipping or storage service to choose another company. I hired them to provide storage containers and transportation of my entire house from ******** to *******. Their communication with me during my long distance move was absolutely horrendous and was further complicated when they had a wall collapse at the building they share with the postal service. We were not provided any details on the extent of damage to their business and we're given the run around on what they were doing to fix the situation. The delivery window is currently extended to four weeks past the contracted delivery date and there is still no clear path on how this nationally recognized business is going to ensure their customers are going to be made whole. To further the issue, the delivery next week is still not guaranteed and they are not communicating the actions they are taking STILL!

      Moving is already stressful, and this business somehow made it 100% WORSE!!! **************** is horrible...basically nonexistent; They overcharged me and getting in touch with someone to help with the discrepancy, because of the horrible service, has been impossible. Their description of the containers state they will fit 3-4 bedroom (furniture) I could barely fit 2 bedrooms and thankfully I didn't have to bring the fridge or dishwasher or any other large appliances they would NEVER fit. Delivery driver was incompetent and placed the container in the wrong spot making loading more difficult. OVERALL! Can't believe the company still exists. I work with the military who's personnel moved 365 days out of the year so I will be generating word-of-mouth to 'NOT' use this company ever!

      I scheduled a container to be dropped off today. Had not received any communication to verify a time this morning, so I called . There was a 90 min hold time but they gave the option for a callback. The callback occurred about 3 hours later, but I was placed on hold for 30 min before I hung up. This is absurd customer service.

      We had no issues with PackRat! Drivers were on time, professional and on the delivery end they even helped unload the smaller container so they could take it back that same day- definitely not in their job description! Sales contact and subsequent customer service contacts were professional and helpful, and gave accurate information. Highly recommend the locations we used (******** and *******).

      Order LDM-RET-******* I am devastated and in tears with my recent interaction with PackRat. As a single mother, relocating from ***** to *********, I was referred to your company by my realtor. At the time of booking, I was unaware of my new address but knew it would be in ***********, ** and was informed that my belongings could be stored in ******** until I provided an address for delivery. Today, when I called to give the address, I was told that an additional $2,700 would be required to transport my items to *********. This is on top of the $2,300 already quoted for transportation and storage. I am not sure how any of this got screwed up but there is no way i can afford this. I am 27 years old with a 2 year old and all of my possessions are now being held unless I pay. I have tried speaking with supervisors and requested a review of the phone recording from our initial conversation about the area Im moving too; however, they stated the best the could do was charging me the additional $2,700. The only solution offered was this additional fee making my total to move from ** to ** $5,000, which seems excessive given that I packed and will unpack everything myself. I maybe naive and screwed up and not understood but do not think this is all my fault and asking for some help. Anything at this point so i can afford to get my life shipped to my new home.
