On June 2, 2015, Rebath of Raleigh NC completed a master bath revovation for me, I paid the bill in full of 20,670 dollars at that time, the bathroom looked fantastic, the technician did an extremely good job. They old me they offered a life time warranty. I wondered about individual warranties on any items they purchased and was told that they did not itemize their contracts, that only did the contracts as a complete package product. I really wanted to see how they arrived at their extremely high price, but they refused to itemize the project for me. They periodically had to come out and replace the sweep on the shower door and sometimes repair or replace the water mixer for the shower, which they did. They acknowledged this obligation thru December of 2024, when they came out to replace the shower door sweep, then in January the sweep that they tried to use in December failed and also the floor which they replaced need to,be repaired or replaced and I finally reached someone to make that request , then I got an email that they were no longer going to fulfill the warranty. I want to make sure that anyone that checks on Rebath, realize that they will not acknowledge their responsibility after they complete a project

As we have mentioned on the phone, in emails & in texts the Re-Bath warranty is clearly outlined on your contract & on our website. We have gone over and above the stated warranty. We are happy to assist with your current repairs, but they do fall outside of the stated warranty.

August 27, 2024, a consultation was given by **** *******, explaining processes about my new walk-in bathtub installation. She asked me to call ****** about my credit card limit to make sure it covers the cost, it did. She informed me the process can take a long time; "it's like buying a car" because the supplies could take a long time to be ************ ******, I made a payment for a previous purchase and was informed about another payment that needed to be paid for a recent purchase. I didn't know because I was not given a copy of the signed agreement electronically on her tablet and not paper to file for my records. I've called **** ******* about not having a signed copy sent to me. She informed me she sent it to my personal email and I informed her I did not receive it. She asked did I want her to send it again electronically or paper? I requested a paper copy, she agreed to send the paperwork to my home under my welcome mat. I went with my daughter to ****** to complain about not having a copy of the signed agreement. My daughter and I made a call to the Raleigh office, October 23, 2024, about this issue to ******. We've explained this issue and how long this project was going to take! Two payments were made and I have not received a follow up. December is when the project starts. If I knew this I wouldn't agree to purchase! ****** informed us she will contact **** to contact me. She called me a day later explaining she will mail a copy of the contract to me. Not received! I've requested a cancellation and she informed me I couldn't cancel because supplies were already ordered. Payments on a project that has not happened yet! The representatives I spoke with were unable to adequately address my concerns and offered unhelpful solutions with vague responses. This resulted in a negative impact, wasting time, unresolved issues and frustration.I expect a prompt and professional response to this complaint, including a refund.Sincerely,********* ********

Lets start with what we were promised from our sales person. Sales person said 8-12 weeks for the work to get started and then once started, 2-3 days completion. At 14 weeks I had to call in to the office to find out what was going on as we hadnt heard a single thing. They said there was a problem getting the tub we chose. Normally an easy fix, if they had just called us. Terrible communication! The office manager argued with my wife multiple times and avoided our calls. They even wanted to just cancel the job, after I had already gotten the financing thru Lowes to get this done. Terrible customer service! The job finally got started 23 weeks after first signing contract. Then it took 9 days to complete. This required taking time off of work and being available for the installation. Once finally completed, the installer said to expect a phone call for the custom glass company to schedule a time to get measurements for the shower door. Not two hours later I received a text (A TEXT! not a phone call), stating that they no longer do anything with the custom glass. I called the office manager to complain, and she said they stopped doing anything with glass months ago, and yet they included this in the sales pitch. She was rude and showed no empathy whatsoever. I refuse to talk to her moving forward. I called the installer and he had no knowledge of this being the new policy. This leads me to believe that they just refused to assist us with it when it is still very much part of the offering. I called Lowes to complain considering that they are a recommended vendor and one of the reasons I decided to use them to do the remodel, and nothing came of it. ***** just wanted to get the final payment and be done with it. Ultimately, I would not recommend this company and Im at the point now where I may not even shop at ***** anymore considering the overall customer service experience. I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau as well.

We have reviewed the conversation you had with your design consultant as well as the communication you had with our office staff. I’d like to provide some clarification on the situation.

Based on the contract you signed with Lowe's, your project never included a shower door. Re-Bath no longer offers custom glass doors due to very long lead times and, more importantly, to maintain compliance with our partnership with Lowe's. Lowe's requires that only background-checked and badged individuals, such as Re-Bath employees, perform work in Lowe’s customers' homes. This policy ensures the integrity of our services and our ongoing relationship with Lowe’s.

Since we are unable to oversee the purchase or installation of a custom glass door, we recommended using the link provided to schedule Lowe’s own custom glass shower door provider. This allows you to complete this portion of your bathroom remodel through Lowe’s directly, separate from your contract with Re-Bath.

We hope this explanation helps clarify the situation. Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or concerns, and we'll be happy to assist.

A terrible experience and would not recommend. From the owner, *** Koehler, to the project manager, ******, and office manager, ******, non-responsive, no accountability, or took responsibility in our project. Paid 100% for a bathroom remodel and received roughly 80% of the service before they cancelled our contract. Still waiting on the refundwalk away from this company!

Our company does not install custom glass doors and we use several outside companies as subcontractors when requested by customers.  We completed a custom shower at their home & were going through the process of coordinating their custom door installation.  Unfortunately, we have little control over the timing of other companies & their installation schedules.  Customers that choose a custom door are informed of this process at the time of sale & offered the opportunity to work with any glass company they desire.  The Lush family did not like the timeline of the custom door and were very vocal about it.  Mr. Lush berated our employees on multiple occasions, bringing one of our staff to tears.  When we reviewed the footage of him coming into our showroom and intimidating our staff, we chose to cancel their custom door contract and refund their money in full.  We have a zero tolerance policy on this type of behavior.  They are free to use any other custom glass company they want.

************ accused us of prejudice, racism, etc & said he was determined to leave a bad review on every site he could, so this review comes as no surprise.

All of our calls are recorded & I think he should be ashamed to hear the way he spoke to our staff & the video from our showroom is even more condemning.  We will not stand for this type of behavior against any of our staff.

Do not use this company to do any work on your bathroom. Our 1-2 week project took a total of 10 weeks to complete. The staff are very uncommunicative of status and getting any sort of update is almost impossible. The actual installer, ****, did very good work, went the extra mile, communicated very well and was on-time and did what he said when he was going to do it. The bad is all about the office staff and whomever answers the corporate "customer service" line. Multiple calls asking for information went un-responded to and we had weeks where we didn't hear anything from anyone. The promise that is made is that you pay some amount upfront and this allows reabath to purchase materials so that the install goes quickly and smoothly. This means they have a good handle on their pipeline of suppliers and can plan and have things ready. Do not believe it. ******* having paid the required amount 21 weeks before the job started, the counter top was still 10+ weeks late in being installed. The glass contractor they used was also uncommunicative, full of excuses and 4 weeks late on a 2 week promise. So, we were without our bathroom for 6 weeks. Do not use re-bath of *******.

This Company is the WORST we have ever dealt with. Our job was contracted on 1/16/23 and just finished (not in our eyes) yesterday 8/17/23 and not to our liking. From the sales person, **********, who came in January to the finished project it was a royal comedy of errors. The Manager just doesn't care and the people they hire are not fit to be doing the job, two have left since we contracted with them.We did not get anything that we wanted on our job. The tile was a mess and still is not to our liking but we want them OUT of our house. The shower chair was not installed as everything they cannot do they talk you out of.We settled on the tile being installed the way it is because the sales person stated one way and then installers could not do that. The shower faucet was installed backwards and the **************** would not pass inspection as the Sales Rep put we are on a basement and we ae on a slab!!!!We also ordered the frameless shower door and they installed semi-frameless as they had many reasons why we should not have frameless. Our original contract was never signed by us..should have been a red flag. Our job was due to start in April and be done in April and here it is August...I do not believe they should be charging us the balance for this nightmare of a project and we will talk to our attorney.I could go on and on but it does not help and there is never a way to get to the owner of the company.

Most inspections departments will not pass a final inspection without a shower door or shower curtain. Since a temporary shower curtain would not work with the design of this shower, the final inspection was dependent on the glass being installed first. After abruptly kicking a custom glass door provider out of their home, this couple refused to let us finish their project and refused to pay their balance. We are working with our collections folks to seek a remedy.

Most frustrating experience ever. Like others we're now reading about (wish we had seen those reviews before we signed a contract 6 months ago) Re-Bath of Raleigh has no sense of customer service and has very much under-delivered on every promise made. It's nauseating at this point, honestly. We signed a contract in early August, paid our 50%, and have been waiting on our project to begin. Once the 18-week lead time passed, we began calling and texting trying to see where we were in the process. Seven times we've contacted them...over the last six weeks. While the multiple ladies who will answer in customer service are very friendly, trying to get ANYONE to call you back feels impossible at this point. We're now on a second "Project Manager" and still have heard from no one. Nothing. I have never dealt with a company before who totally ignores their customers. We're at 26 weeks waiting now and can't even get a call-back to tell us an estimate of where things are? At this point, I have no confidence in this company. They were quick to schedule an initial visit, quick to take our money, and then....silent. This has not been a pleasant experience at all. We are writing this review and have been talking to all our family and friends to be sure that no one else is on the receiving end of such horrible service.

Choosing re-bath was a horrible mistake and one we are going to make sure no friends, family, or neighbors make. It took 27 weeks from the time we signed our contract to the time the bathroom was completed (and we still have to get it inspected by the city before we can even use the shower) when the contract stated an 18 week lead time.
Our salesperson only responded to one email of mine, which took her over 2 weeks to respond. This email was just asking if she thinks we were still on schedule for the beginning of November, which was when she had originally told us to expect to have the project completed. She responded to expect a two week delay, putting us at a mid-November installation date. After this she never responded to any emails or phone calls.
We were told the project would take 3-4 days from beginning to end once started. On day 4 we were told they needed an extra half day about an hour before they left causing my partner to have to take off work unexpectedly the following day.
This egregious overpromising and underdelivering should be considered a deceptive sales tactic.
