Contacted lowes to install replacement windows on home. Windows were to be replacement so we're to be the same. Lowe's was over a month late to install and after one of the windows was installed the installer said it opened different than the one it replaced. Lowes said would have to wait until all install was complete to address the issue with the window. (Needing the window to open as before to vent a laser engraver outside.)The install was to have been completed by November 13 for a Thanksgiving function. Installers arrived on November 13 but the windows had not even ordered by then. Was a full month later when we're installed. With the one window not correct. Took multiple calls to lowes and was informed had to wait until all install was completed before could address the issue. Had to wait 5 months for the screen door to be replaced because it was damaged each time it arrived. Again, had to await before they could address the issue.I was informed more than once they had to wait for management to see if the would replace or refund cost. Today was informed that they would not be doing either and would have to pay for window out of pocket as I had approved the windows. (The salesman **** also informed me he did not know that the window was different and was attempting to assist.Having spoken with **** several times he kept informing me that had to wait for management to determine if would replace or refund as was his error. Now lowes decided not to do anything. Not the first issue with Lowes. Prior when delivering lumber at home, they dumped their forklift digging the forks into the concrete knocking out chunks of concrete.I should pursued repairs. They took the information. I was too busy to address and never got the repairsReview fromRALPH M

My wife and I purchased range hood from Lowes and had Lowes installation to install the hood. The hood was installed on or about 5/24/2024. The old hood was removed and new hood mounted on the wall. The Lowes contractor is. *********************. My wife was concerned with their work because they kept drilling into the wall more than necessary to hang the hood. After the work was completed, nothing was mentioned to me or my wife of any previous issues with the old hood install by the builder of the home. So, almost a year later we had company come to the house to stay in the bedroom over the kitchen. We had multiple weekends almost back to back where the bedroom and bathroom were used. We noticed water soaking our sheet rock causing the paint to bubble up underneath the range hood. We proceeded to trouble shoot the problem with the help of a contractor that our home warranty company sent out. They determined the issue is with the contractor who installed the new range hood. They found a hole in the drain pipe and a s**** from the install that penetrated the pipe. After multiple calls with Lowes, I sent a repair estimate to Lowes Corporate install department. Lowes refused to accept responsibility. Lowes says the hole in the pipe was from the removal of the old hood installed by the builder. The house is 20+ years old. The leak could not have occurred then cause we have not had any issues with leaks until after the new hood install was completed. Lowes solution was to offer the repairs at my expense. I still have a s**** in the drain pipe clearly made by the latest install. Were looking to be reimbursed for the repairs from the estimate that Lowes requested.Review fromMitchell M

***** Appliance buyer beware! You have 48hrs only to return or replace your purchase! Without the use of Lowes credit card, you then may have a 30 day window! But they will do nothing for you otherwise, when you buy any of their ***** Appliances! And when you find out you purchased junk! Which Lowes seem to know excatly what Lowes is selling! Lowes will wash their hands of it and you are stuck with your junk purchase! Now are only option two weeks after are brand new expensive washer and dryer set purchase, is to contact their vendor and maybe they can fix them! Otherwise we are stuck with this junk and not their problem anymore! Be forewarned their policy updates, which I was informed of so clearly at the time of attempted return counter wall, mind you such policy is facing the opposite way of which you walk in their stores! And nothing is posted at the check out counters or noted clearly online, which is where we purchased are worthless new washer and dryer set! I hope this helps others hard working Americans, who are living on a tight budget as is and you dont throw your hard earned time and money away, like we just unknowingly did!Review fromTony F

I purchased carpet from Lowes. they sent ********************** to install. They banged up walls and doors moving furniture and chipped kitchen tile. I got a poor installation. Lowes does not stand behind the people they hired. Carpet was $5600. Lowes offered $500 to cover all repairs. Estimate is for $1647.50. I have already missed 2 days of work without pay. Property damage claim still unresolved.Review fromZorian T

Bought dishwasher in Sept 2024 because of promotional 12 mos no interest. Took the total cost divided by 12 and made that my autopay. Never bothered checking my Lowes account as I thought it was on autopilot. Recently lost my job, so I was checking my balances. I noticed that I was being charged interest on my purchase. Went to store, they can't do anything, call Lowes credit, they said if the manager called they can waive the interest. Went back to store manager called somebody, but apparently nothing can be done. I only use my Lowes card for promotional purchases, but even then I got screwed. Will toss it and be wiser.Review fromCynthia

2/2025 I was in need of a new Security Screen ************ Door. ************************************************. They sent a contractor to come out, measured & helped pick choices offered. I Paid $2,900. 2/2025. Doors were finally installed 5/5/25. LOWES ***************** says call LOWES instillation **** if any issues come up. I called 5/13/25 as *********** coming thru Security Screen Door. Was told by **** B Project Coordinator nothing he can do, that I ordered the WRONG door (I trusted the staff to help get me the best door for both Security & keep bugs out) **** B said if he sends someone out to inspect the'll tell me the same. Nothing they can do. Online LOWES states security doors can have additional 'weatherstripping'. So I went personally to ***************************************** store with all my stats, photos of the 1"GAP, explained what happened and said: I Need Help. I had had help with my decision to purchase the best doors, now I need HELP in getting the proper weatherstripping with their assistance. Again, I was treated as if I should have KNOWN what I was doing. I explained my goal was to leave with the weatherstripping. I had the LOWES - line by line Receipt of both door products I purchased so they knew dimensions to assist me in purchasing proper weatherstripping on sides of door and under the door to keep out bugs. NO. Upon reviewing ALL my facts, they said I'd need to get the RIGHT door, PURCHASE another Instillation for the RIGHT door. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I left without weatherstripping. I left feeling stripped. I will NEVER purchase anything there again.Review fromEd S

Recently (2/19/25) purchased Duel Fuel Range, mini beverage fridge and a top end microwave from Lowe's (Purchased Online). They were all delivered and now installed in our new house. (good news) I had done a lot of research on the items with several retailers, but decided to purchase from Lowe's because of the protection plans available on the appliances and being a member of their Rewards Program to earn points for other items we will be needing. All was going well until I (3 different times) requested where my rewards points were for the OVER $7,000.00 purchase as they were not showing up. Got the "run around" from the local store location and was told to contact the ***** customer (no) service **********************. I was frustrated, but polite even though was on hold multiple times, then disconnected, called back (45 minutes of my life I'll never get back)... ***!Final result... NO POINTS! Somewhere in fine print that I've never seen, apparently you do not get points for "Special Order" items?????? Free standing stove, Small beverage fridge and a top of the line Microwave!!! All advertised online, nothing mentioning Rewards Ineligible, no mention of these details even after dropping $7 Grand with Lowe's in one purchase, not even Half points offered... no customer service relief...Nothing-Nada-Zero!Well, that's what Lowe's will get from me from now on...Nothing-Nada-Zero, I'll take my and everyone who will listen business, purchases elsewhere.THE LOWE'S REWARD PROGRAM IS A JOKE!!!Review fromBRENDA N

Purchased an extended warranty on a Whirlpool dryer, into the 5th month of the warranty the dryer would not heat. They sent a contractor to repair it 4 times. Always citing that they did not have the right part on the truck. The last visit we were told the same thing. Now we can't get a callback. Texted me and said they could not repair it. We discovered that vital wires were snipped that didn't have anything to do with what the original problem was. Now I file a claim online and can't find my original invoice and have made 8 attempts for Lowe's to help me with that and conveniently they don't have it either. LIE. I tried get it online from my purchase list and conveniently that is not listed.End result, I'm being offered $108, which the Protection Plan states that Lowe's would replace if the unit was deemed irrairable. Don't tell me that they do not have your original Proof of Purchase.Review fromHeather M

Purchased a new range, they didn't install the correct burner disc parts, the two top discs left side, over the gas burners have never worked, they are not for the model I purchased. They never checked this before leaving and I have never been able to get them to come back and replace them with the correct parts. Cost me $360 to hire another company to fix it correctly. Very poor business, will never deal with them again.
