I reached out to Harrelson and Son to redo some flooring in my living room. I personally ripped up the carpet and purchased the flooring from Lowes. The father, son and 2 workers came to my house on Tuesday, May 14th to complete the work. I paid the father in cash, but I do have a receipt from his email address. The total I paid him was for the labor and materials for trim, totaling in $1,688. The work took longer than they said, so I had to leave while they finished up. Once I got home that evening I noticed all around the wall there were gaps that he was supposed to cover with the molding. (The molding that I paid extra for that he suggested getting). The molding didn't cover the gaps, he also used caulking to try to fill in some holes. When I told him I wasn't pleased with the work, the father said he agreed, that they would come back out and replace the molding with the molding "that he should have used to begin with". I had to be at work so I couldn't be there while they did it. They did not replace the molding, they only added another molding on top of that. So now I have trim, then molding and molding on top of that and even more caulk everywhere. I told the dad what happened(because again - the son was the one doing the work even though the father is the one "in charge"). And yet again, the father said the son needed to make it right. When I spoke with the son he became irate, I simply asked to make it right or give me a refund for the molding and the labor for the molding, so I could put that towards the cost of what I would have to pay another contractor to fix the gaps/remove caulking, etc. He cussed me out, told me he would "make me pay", hung up on me, blocked me and will not make it right. Which at this point I do not want them on my property since he threatened me. The father sent me text after which I will include in the pictures then blocked me. They refuse to make it right or reimburse for any work. Proof they have done this to others as well.

If ***************** feels that our company fine anything other than what she requested on her flooring job. Then I strongly encourage her to take us to small claims court and produce baby and all evidence of so .. we have photo and text documentation of everything. Her request of the type of trim she asked for . And the proof that the floor was installed properly and to warranty specifications. Also that in an attempt to please her , we offered to return to her home within 2 hou of her complaint and rectify her complaint . For which she told my Son and myself , she didnt want us to come back . She wanted to hire another contractor. Therefore bi told her she was free to do so . So unless she wants to go to court , tell her to enjoy her floor .

    thank you ,
