"I’m not sure why the front desk/appointment scheduler felt it was her place to invalidate my symptoms and tell me that my experiences were completely normal, without the necessary qualifications to even be able to make such comments…I mean, there is a reason I received a referral and reason the referring doctor felt it was necessary. But for a know-nothing appointment scheduler who has 0 experience or knowledge as a dentist to tell me it’s normal, and suggest (by the unprofessional nature of the interaction I had with her) that I’m overreacting about my symptoms, feels like gaslighting." ...
