Were not honest about what was needed in home. **************** does not follow through, managers, even at district level are unresponsive and only helpful if you have no issues. Make it impossible to cancel. Won't return calls. Terrible serviceReview fromScottJackson

I wish that I could give them less than one star. This business is heinous with zero regard for customers time, do not expect them to communicate anything. This was a bad experience and one that I truly regret. We got service here at my home for more than a year. I am never home, gone a lot for work, so the incompetence never became apparent until I witnessed it first hand. This past Saturday, the Terminix truck backed into my driveway. WE HAD ZERO NOTIFICATION THAT THEY WERE COMING. I have four young children. I do not want my children around when they spray, and we have always made that clear. I was caught off guard with the surprise visit and could only have the exterior of the property treated, as it was Saturday morning, and I was in the middle of a call with my tax professional in effort to complete my taxes. The Terminix service cost me $111. I told the tech to cancel all services and to have the manager call me. I never got a call, and had to call them to get an invoice proving the account is closed. I will never use this company again, and will advise you to never do business with them.Review fromJuliana G.

I was under duress due to a suspected rodent/pest infestation, and called Terminex, who scheduled an inspection. The technician strongly recommended beginning services to eradicate. His professional recommendation was to begin services, and "trap them" inside so they would expire within the frame structure of my home however, he stated, "I don't know what this is (animal)". The technician insisted that they would take care of it however, I had to sign the contract in order to commence service. The "service" was completed according to Terminex but due to the increased activity in my home area, I continued to reach out to them, though they had no sense of urgency, yet the noise was deafening at night, seriously impeding any sleep. I began to suspect that they were not being honest and called another company to come out to investigate. After a thorough evaluation of the property and home, the inspector reported there had been no infestations at all whatsoever, and that my attic was outstandingly clean. ************************* home inspector, of TERMINIX is a scam and *****, I am 79 years old and had a Racoon problem, I called terminix and ************************* came out, and inspected my garage and basement, as that's where the Racoons were. He told me he would come back and do the work on the outside, the Racoons were so bad inside the garage and basement, I called animal Control, the work got done. ****** took $416.37 off my credit card and told me it would just be a hold until the job is completed, he took the Money the same day, I even text him about the hold, requesting it not be put thru. This Company is horrible and a scam, so any complaints on BBB, I got tired of reading them, all about the same thing money taken. I called Terminix on 2/27, and canceled all transactions with them, customer service told me shee would have everything canceled, didn't happen.Don't, Get SCAMED by this company!!Review fromNolan S

The regional manager should be fired. K**** cussed me out, took no ownership of his mistakes, lied about helping me and being available for customer to talk to him. Unreal someone actually hires incompetent toddlers like that and lets them run a business. They deserve no business and future customers should avoid them at all costs.Review fromMarvin T

I recently got service for bedbugs they came out and inspected and came up with a service plan for a year which costed **** dollars that I paid in full but a year later still seeing the bugs so they sent someone to check the problem and charging me 124 dollars for a service that I paid for them to handle and they did not throughout the year I been taking all our clothes out washing and drying and still have the same problems services began on or about 6/22 thru 6/22 I thought the last service they done was because they never got rid of them no they changed me for unsatisfactory work .don't use themReview fromMika Y

I recently moved to ************/*************** and called Terminix for service. The experience I had with the tech who came to my house was horrible. I wanted regular/routine service but he overstayed his welcome and until I finally said yes to a service that ended up costing me $1300. He wanted to make a sale and get me financed and had issues with the technology on his iPad and smartphone.I explained to the tech that I really didnt have the time/money to commit to this (due to military obligations). The communication with him over the last year has been like playing phone tag and ineffective. They ended up sending my balance to small claims court. I feel bullied into paying them or having a judgment on my credit. I tried explaining to them how I can arrange a payment before court and they still were very uncompromising. I would like to spread the word that this company is bad for business and they indulge in slight predatory practices. I even went to the office location and was not surprised to see another customer presenting a similar issue and billing oversight. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TERMINIX! Have been a Terminix customer 22 years. This is my 2d home covered by them. My normal technician (*********) has always been wonderful, gives great advice and always provides great service, ********* came to our home 18 Jan and told us he filled the mouse bait station in our crawl space. Terminix called us and scheduled a "free" home inspection for rodents. On 25 Jan, *** came to our home, inspected, told us our bait station was empty and there were so many rats and mice, they were fighting over the bait and none of them were ingesting enough bait to kill them. Also told us he had been in our attic and could actually hear the rodents, indicating a major infestation. Offered me a service for $2400.00 to seal all access points within our crawl space. He immediately placed several glue boards within our attic and 2 baited snap traps within our crawl space to catch rodents pending the service. Supposedly called District Manager (***) and had fee reduced to $1350.00 which I paid. Checked traps and glue boards daily while awaiting service and no indication of rodents. Spoke with ***, requested cancellation of service and refund of $1350.00. *** suggested he send technician out today to fill bait station, wait 2 weeks, examine bait stations again, then deal with problem. Another technician (*****) showed up today. Inspection of bait station shows completely full and no sign of activity. Bottom line, *** lied to us about it being empty and tried selling a service by instilling fear into my wife. Also tried selling us a service a few years ago to control moisture in crawl space. Subsequent inspection by 2 other companies hired to perform this service showed no action was necessary. Our normal technician (*********) is great and I do recommend Terminix for termite and other insect control. Strongly recommend they not be used for any other services. Their representatives will lie about or fabricate inspection results to sell their service. Requested refund!Review fromHillary D

On 09/21/2022 I contacted Terminix to reschedule my quarterly service to a later date due to some financial dilemmas I had unexpectedly come up. After speaking with the rep, I had confirmation the appointment was changed to 10/13/2022. Well on 09/30/2022 they showed up (without notifying me the day before as they always do) and completed the service charging my card. I reached out immediately and provided screen shots of the conversation that showed they were not supposed to come until 10/13. They stated they would file a complaint with the local branch because they did see in the notes where my appointment was rescheduled to 10/13. I was told I would hear back from the local branch within 48 hours. After 48 hours and I had not heard back I reached out again trying to get a hold of the local branch, but they told me they couldn't get me directly in touch with them and more than likely I wouldn't' get a refund because they sprayed already. Which upset me even more, because the entire point behind the advance change was to avoid this. It's been 4 days and I still have heard nothing, and my bank account now has 4 overdraft fees because of their charge that I tried to prevent. They were automatic payments I could not stop. I'm so upset they didn't' follow through with ANY of their processes and I am cancelling all future services moving forward. I'm so disappointed with how they treated me as a customer since as this was a one-time situation I needed to avoid as i never had to reschedule in the past.
