    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    *******************day, the next morning I went by ***** Constructions office where upon a request for a refund of my $8,000 deposit was told it would be the following Monday when I could get it. Today is that Monday, I called about my refund and was told once again it would take several days for my refund to be processed. I feel at this point that this company is earning interest on my funds.

    We have looked into our records for the customer noted in the complaint below and can verify that the situation was resolved as of 04/04/2024. Our records indicate that an electronic refund was attempted promptly after being requested, however the customer's bank did not allow the transfer of funds back into his account. We then wrote ************** a physical check and kept in close contact with him until he was able to come into our office to pick it up. We thank you for your diligence in this matter and hope that the situation can be closed out.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The last communications we received from M&D was from **** who stated that they would be scheduling the painters to come out and address the stain issues, that was in 11/2023. The cable railings were purchased from Lowes so Im not sure how it was a manufacturer issue because they were just cut too long and theres no room for them to be tightened any further. Either way nobody informs us of anything and when they do they state somebody will be coming out and then they never do. We emailed several times advising that if our issues werent addressed we would file a BBB complaint as a last resort so here we are. I dont feel comfortable accepting the response because weve been promised more than once it would get fixed and it still hasnt.

    to texts, always had an excuse and then just completely stopped responding. I have all my messages since the beginning of the project over a year ago and you can see the lack of professionalism. We have a 15 month old grandson who lives here with us and if he manages to slip through these cable railings because they are too loose we are going to have a much bigger issue on our hands. The drop from the porch is probably at least 15 ft off the ground in some places and hes already tried going under them several times. I would like a response and some resolution to this matter as soon as possible as I am tired of having to reach out and work so tirelessly at trying to get you to address issues that should have been corrected a long time ago. We called and emailed several times to speak with a manager but are told there isnt one. They sent **** out on Nov. 1st to take a look and he advised they would redo the stain and the railings and has now stopped responding to our messages.

    We have reordered the necessary components for the replacement of the cable system that is failing. This was done under a warranty claim with the manufacturer due to the cable railing failing. The manufacturer did agree to send new components and has mailed them to us. This order was placed on 11/03/2023 with the manufacturer, we were told at that time that it could take up to **** business weeks to arrive. At the time of writing this response we have still not received the parts as they are still in route. We will contact Mrs. *** directly to schedule the repairs as soon as the necessary parts have been received in the mail.

    Hello, as mentioned in our previous response we are simply waiting on the materials needed to come in so that we can do the repairs. The materials are being sent as part of a warranty claim therefore we cannot purchase them from the store. It is the manufacturers policy that they ship the necessary parts to complete the repairs. As also previously mentioned we will be repairing the railing system for Mrs. *** as soon as possible upon receiving the parts from the manufacturer.     Okay and that all sounds great however we dont want to keep going back and forth so if possible Id like to just leave the complaint open until the issue has been resolved because calling the business directly in the past hasnt gotten us anywhere. I understand youre waiting on parts and we are looking forward to the issue being rectified.

    We had MND Construction install a metal roof on our home in 2019. Our roof has continued to leak since the time of installation. Lots of unanswered phone calls with lots of no shows and empty promises to fix. This is ruining the side building attached to our home (and the wall that is shared with that room).

    This company told us that the leak was from our chimney and that it would cost several thousand dollars for them to pressure wash and seal the chimney. We had the chimney professionally inspected and it is not the cause of the leak. Now they will not answer our calls.

    Meanwhile, the walls and floors of the side building are wet and getting ruined. There is mold growing in that room that shares a wall with our living room. This has been going on for way too long.

    We were able to get the coowner ***** come out because, not only does the roof leak, but it looks bad. He agreed that the way the trim was done was horrible and told "his guys" how to redo it right. He said he would come out with them to make sure the repairs were done correctly, which he never did. His workers came out and did not do the repairs like they were supposed to and the trim looks the same. My husband has been unable to get ahold of ***** since.

    We were also told that they would repair the side room once the leak was fixed. This company is getting away with leaving us with a leaky and unsightly roof that is causing damage and undermining the integrity of our home.

    I have previously filed a complaint against this company but there has never been a resolution.

    My husband and I do not know where to turn to get help.

    M&D Construction has had a project manager visit Mr. & Mrs. ****'s property 8 times ranging from 2019 -
    2021. During those visits we assessed the roofing in the area of concern. ****** (Project manager) has
    attempted to communicate with Mr. and Mrs. **** on each occasion to notify them that they need a chimney
    professional to repair the chimney that is allowing water to enter their home. Our company warranty does
    not cover the chimney, it only covers the roof installation. We have checked our flashing and have redone it
    numerous times to resolve any concern that it is the roof allowing water into the home.
