The promotion was $50 unlimited yoga classes for one month and the membership fee of $50 waived. When I discovered I couldnt afford it after the first month (which was only 14 days after I started). I immediately contacted the owner to let him know that after this first month (which was the $50 I had paid for) I could no longer attend and needed to cancel. The owner called me and said because Ive missed the invoice deadline Id have to pay $110 and had until December 14 to use. It made no sense and I tried to dispute the claim that I missed an invoice deadline because I had only been attending for 14 days. The owner continuously argued and interrupted me telling me that I chose to join this yoga studio and agreed to pay the last months statement balance as per my contract. I went through the contract and did not see where that was mentioned. I started the yoga sessions on October 14 and notified the owner on October 25. I was so confused and tried to explain to the owner none of this makes sense because I was giving him more than 30 days notice that I couldnt attend. He continued to tell me I was wrong and that I would owe $110 and he would honor the promotion until December 14 which would be my last day. I told him I will call him back and we hung up. Then a few days later I texted him I needed to cancel for sure and please make sure my membership did not continue. I called him and explained I dont think it makes sense for me to pay $110 and would like to cancel and not be charged. He told me that again I would have to pay the $110 because I agreed to it and I did not give enough notice before the invoices were sent out. There was no invoice sent out and he immediately charged my credit card $110. I would not recommend this place to my friend or enemy. The owner was extremely rude and constantly told me I was wrong and not giving him a reason why I wanted to cancel. I told him that I joined the yoga studio for relaxation and have a stress-free hour a day.
