I would not recommend company. They sent workers out on Friday afternoon 8/25/23. They said they were mad at the company for sending them out. Told us if we would give them $1000.00 cash they would put a filter in and pump out our septic to keep it from backing up again. They would tell the company to bill us for $900.00. In less than 2 months it has backed up again. We have called twice now and the secretary said the owner would call and has not called us back as of 10/13/23.

Its never any fun being taken advantage of. In my familys time of need, Rooter Express did exactly that. On Tuesday afternoon our kitchen sink was stopped up and our toilet would not flush. Since we are disabled we needed the facilities and chose Rooter Express because they could come the fastest. They also quoted a reasonable price of $450 for septic draining service. Since my family is on a fixed income as we are retired, we were able to afford this charge. Upon arrival the price increased to $2950. Then thirty minutes later the price increased again to almost $4000. At this point they had already taken apart our system and basically held us hostage with open sewage from the septic system leaving us no choice to either pay them, or live with sewage until a reputable plumber came to fix the problem for real. To be honest we dont know if the problems they were discovering were real or just made up to pad their profits. They claimed to have replaced 20 feet of outlet pipe. The next day we had another company come and they discovered that Rooter Express had illegally discarded the broken outlet pipe in our back yard and it was only five feet long. Regardless, Rooter Express still charged us parts and labor for twenty feet. This was the first concrete evidence that Rooter Express were taking advantage of us. After this evidence we asked two other septic companies to review the work and to insure that the untrustworthy Rooter Express did not leave behind an expensive and hazardous mess. These two companies offered the following prices for what they would have charged: $1375 and $1700. Obviously Rooter Express was not being reasonable with a price almost TRIPLE the cost of honest and competent septic companies. I was even told they could replace my entire septic system with all new lines for the same price as Rooter Express. Also their local *******, ** address they use is not their address (we checked). Shady, deceiving company!
