  We called KO Tree Service today after receiving a quote a couple of days ago. Within a few hours of our call, Cowboy and his crew were at our home doing the work quoted. They did a fabulous job elevating our huge pin oak tree and also removal of dead limbs from the oak and our river birch tree. They were fast, efficient and did a really good clean up job. Their pricing was very reasonable. Were very pleased with the work done! Would highly recommend!!**** and *****

  I do not recommend this company. (1) They don't show up on the day they say they will come. (2) OVER PRICED (3) Left a mess of piled wood in the middle of my yard after 'telling' us they would stack it on the side. (4) Apparently we initialed work to be done on what they call a "contract" but they didn't leave a copy of a 'contract'. (5) Insisted we pay CASH only - this is Shady (6)charged $100 to cut down 8 low hanging limbs off a large tree and only cut ONE limb, (7) Verbal commitment to grind stumps and this is main reason we hired them. But it is not listed in an apparent "Contract" so we are left with large stumps. Were told can't cut them low because it would not be good for their chains on saw. I offered to pay 75% of the bill since they cut down 3 small trees and I needed to hire someone else to finish the bulk and hard parts of the job. They insisted I pay full price. They came back and stacked the wood, and cut down 4 more limbs but job still not done. There are too many other good companies to use. I would stay clear of this one.

  KO Tree Service did a great job removing and trimming mature trees on my property at a competitive price. The work was completed timely and they did a great job cleaning up. This is the second time I have used them and will use them again.

  These guys came and gave me an estimate to remove some trees but wanted to leave the large logs behind. I told the owner that I have no way of splitting the logs into firewood size pieces and would rather they haul them off. The owner assured me that the logs would "Not need to be split." Two days after they left, I went out to grab some firewood to start a fire and found that there were huge divots were left in my yard where they evidently fell the logs to the ground and one of the limbs that they said they would remove was still on the tree. I decided to let this go but then was appalled when I came to my firewood shack. KO left massive logs (14" around) stacked on top of my usable firewood. These logs ARE NOT firewood size and would definitely need to be split to fit in any normal fireplace. When I called the owner and asked him to come pick them up, he refused. He said that the contract doesn't specify size and that he never said the wood would be "firewood size". Well, he did say "they would not need to be split" which implies firewood size. This is a man who is happy to lie by omission and then get off on "technicalities". I would steer clear of this dishonest service!
