  After my family member suicided in their car, the car was towed to Hunter. During this very terrible time, parents and other family members called Hunter wrecking to ascertain what steps needed to be taken. The **************** were involved and mentioned "if they give you any trouble, call me and I will take care of it". Not sure what that meant, but Hunter staff were aggressive on the phone and only caused more pain for our family. It was disturbing and it happened TWICE. I am not sure what those people were thinking (it was clear that someone had suicided in the car) but they were just awful and it made me want to write this review in order to bring attention to their cold practices.

  Worst towing I got in my life. They sent me a drunk driver took him 2 hours to tow my car which was just 5 minutes down the road and then he refused to park my car in my driveway and just left it on the street. Called the company and they hanged up on me.

  My ***** Odyssey broke down today and ***** dispatch ******* for me today. ******* needs to be recognized for his patients and kindness. I normally dont leave reviews(like this is my first one EVER) but I want ******** supervisors to know how outstanding he was for me. Tell him the seatbelt lady says hes AMAZING?????? And thank you.

  Hunter Auto and Wrecker Service are angels in disguise! My 79 year old aunt and uncle were enroute to ******* from *************, **. They were involved in an accident 10 miles out of **************. They were stranded for 6 1/2 hours on the Interstate waiting for a tow truck. They could not start their car. It was 40 degrees. Their cell phone ran out of battery. Her brother, my uncle called to tell us about the accident. I called the police and asked for their help. The only they could do was give me the mile marker from the police report and the name of a Wrecker Service. Im a panic I called Hunter and he answered immediately. He assured me he would find them and tow them in. Within 15 minutes he called me, was hooking the car to the Wrecker, and took them back to his shop until a family member could get to them. He took them for food. A couple hours later he called and told me they had just been picked up. He protected them and made them comfortable. We are so grateful. If you need more than a Wrecker - someone kind hearted and caring - call Hunter. I'm positive you will be pleased. Our family is grateful.

  Steer far away from this place as possible. Most unprofessional business I have ever encountered. Our stolen vehicle was brought to this lot (very unfortunate the police use this company) and my wife had to drive there to show proof of ownership of our vehicle. They directed her to a lot across the street, they did not assist her or give her any kind of guidance, she walked across the street to find a closed gate and had to have someone open it for her. Then she had to walk through this disgusting lot, alone, to find her car with no assistance what so ever only to find out her car was not in this lot. Then she goes to leave the lot only to find out that the gate had closed after she entered and could not get out. She had to call them several times because they don't answer their phone but finally reached them after several attempts. She was scared and crying. I raced there to make sure the rest of her experience went smoothly. Come to find out the car was in the lot where she spoke to the guy (not gentlemen). They have no system, they are completely unprofessional, disorganized and overall just do not care. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL.

  Most professional, honest and efficient wrecker company around. If you have the misfortune of needing a wrecker, you cant pick a better service to assist in your time of need.

  Do Not Use!!!! They scam people out of money and do not follow what the customer wants, instead they instill their judgement as to what, when and how the issue will be resolved. Tow operator used personal cell phone for payment request which was to an unknown person (stripper) and a fake receipt. Operator would not tow to desired place client wanted, used key drop off envelope to a different place and advised where the collision center would be.

  Ms./Miss/*************** is wholly off base with this review. I dispute her recollection of events entirely. While I appreciate any consumer taking the time to bring issues to my attention in the hopes of future improvement, I am dismayed at the fact that this individual did not do the right thing by revising her comment to reflect the true, overall interaction with our company. Her statements, as written, were fully disproven and I went above and beyond to show her what Hunter, *** is truly about, it would seem apparent that we are reputable considering that the company she represents uses us for all things tow related. First, I submitted documentation proving that the tow bill was paid through the secure terminal for Hunter, ***; although, this would've also been evidence through a simple review of her statements leading me to question why this was brought ** in the first place. If you spent $X at x business, your bank/credit statement will quickly show you such charge. Second, after learning that she wanted her vehicle taken to a different shop than the one the vehicle was delivered to because her shop was closed, I had the vehicle transported, at my own expense to the other shop, and provided her with the proof to support my claim of doing so to resolve the issue. This is a prime example how in today's world, nothing we small businesses do is satisfactory, but I will not stop my efforts to run an honest and efficient business. I'm sorry that you did not feel the need to do the right thing after all the efforts I made to insure you were well cared for and I still wish you well.
