An excellent, beginning to end experience with **** Energy helping us consider, design, install, and trouble-shoot our home solar and battery solution. Every part of the entire process was extremely smooth, professional, and easy, including their bending over backwards to troubleshoot why one particular part of the installed system (one of the two batteries) didn't initially work.The designer patiently walked us through multiple sets of estimates and design proposals for all kinds of tradeoffs in terms of system size vs cost. They never pressured us to buy anything extra, but instead let us understand what every choice we could get added (and cost). The initial site inspection was simple and easy. They took care of the permitting, utility connection, and city inspection process seamlessly - all we had to do was sign stuff and let people in the house. The installation team was fast, polite, on time, cleaned up after themselves, and were careful with our home.When one of the two batteries didn't initially talk with the system, **** coordinated successive series of **** (and manufacturer) technical teams to come by and debug the system, ultimately coordinating a complete warranty replacement of the battery stacks. The system has worked flawlessly (including in blackouts) ever since, exactly as advertised. And after a full year, the system has produced nearly 30% more power than their guaranteed estimate and operated seamlessly through the Hurricane ****** blackout, allowing us to keep not just our house freezers and refrigerators going, but our neighbors', too. Overall, it was as easy and simple a process for a massive technical home improvement process as you can possibly imagine. I would absolutely recommend **** to anyone who wants to install home solar. I can tell you they installed the panels professionally, but am disappointed they are not producing as claimed. Based on the numbers provided at the design, I should be producing enough to pay for the panels. But over the last 4 years I have had but 1 month where I made progress to my break even. The shadow of the tree was factored, but I don't think the angle of installation (on a 12-2 roof) was correct to get the right amount of sun. It was a waste of $35K... plus interest.

**** Energy is a great place to get your solar needs met. ***** came to my home and fully explained all the details and particulars. ***** then passed me off to the Project Manager *****. I cant say enough about ***** other than she is simply the best at her job hands down! Emails flying back and forth like clockwork to accomplish all the required steps. The in-person staff were very friendly and down to Earth hardworking people. **** was the teams leader on the electrical side along with *******, **************** On the roof (panel) side ***, ************************* stood on my roof as if reaching upwards towards Heaven. It was a true blessing to have them working on my home. Both teams worked in concert to finish the job. The crew (all of them) cleaned up well and departed. My system had a small hiccup due to the internet. **** came back and did some troubleshooting and resolved the issue. **** explained how to turn on & off the system as well as what to do in an emergency. It was a pleasure working with Team **** Energy. I would fully recommend **** Energy for all your solar needs!Review fromChris B

The company did a great job designing the system to fit my needs, and fit into the Duke energy requirements for a residential solar grid. Everyone from ***** in sales, to ***** and the rest of the Ops team, the finance team, and not to leave out the installers that did a two day installment in one very long single day. They all were polite, patient, and very good at their respective jobs. Everything was done in a remarkably fast amount of time, paperwork was completed by **** making it easy to get thru inspections and interconnection to the grid.Review fromJacob B

Their communication was excellent, the installation is visually impressive, and they were more than willing to address all my inquiries. I highly recommend their services to others. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Renu Energy Solutions. They were prompt to get in touch with me upon my initial inquiry. ********************* was thorough in explaining what **** could offer as well as willing and eager to answer my myriad questions. *********************, who was my point of contact throughout, was quick to respond to any/all questions that I had and always followed up when needed. ****** and his team that installed my solar panels and batter were on time and gave me a heads up of their arrival each time.
