  I left a prepaid return package at this location on Sept 24, 2022, to be returned to the merchant. I received a dated, time-stamped receipt. On Oct 10, 2022, I realized I had not received a credit for the very expensive merchandise. I then contacted the vendor. Upon checking the tracking number on my receipt, the merchant stated that not only had the package not been received, it had not even been scanned into the system as a return. On the same day, I returned to the PostNet location. The only person there was a gentleman named *****. I showed him my receipt and he appeared to look up the tracking number. He then stated that he was sure the package had left there because he sends all packages out daily. When I asked for proof that it had been picked up by the carrier, he had none. I informed him that my receipt was proof that it had been left at his location and he had no documentation of it leaving. He stated this type of thing happens all the time and that is the risk one assumes when they mail items. I found this statement to be incredible! I am a retired USAF Officer and could not comprehend this level of complete disregard and shameful treatment from a business. This person offered no help to try to locate my package. Unbelievable! He simply said it was not at this store and there was nothing he could do about it. The item was very expensive. I was Blessed that the merchant was willing to reimburse me without the item being returned. They cautioned me to never use this drop-off location again, which of course I would not dream of doing. I believe PostNet NC 137 is a business without scruples, no concern for clients, and one that everyone should avoid for for any shipping need.
