      The vacation property we rented boasts lots of nice amenities and has beautiful pictures online, however we found just the opposite once we arrived. First the grass was knee high and all the landscaping was overgrown with poisonous vines and thorns. We were soon meet by the smell of mildew and carpet fresh when we entered the first floor. The carpet on this floor was dirty and worn out. The carpet on the stairs was also dirty and worn out. There was water damage in various locations in the third-floor ceilings. There had been poor attempts made to repair these areas. There was black mold on vent diffusers in the ceiling on the third floor in various locations. There was a water damaged exterior door on the third floor with a note on it asking to not open door waiting on repairs. The rug by this door was rumpled up and would not lay flat causing a trip hazard. Several in our family tripped over the edges of this rug but escaped any injury. The dishwasher leaked out into the kitchen floor every time we used it. The walk-in shower on the third floor had mold/mildew inside it. The paint both inside in out was in poor condition and there was a hole in the wall on the first floor big enough to put your fist through. There is no other way to put it this place was a dump. I was disappointed and embarrassed that I had rented this property for our family vacation. I have rented properties all over the country and this is the first time I feel like I got taken advantage of, I didn't get what was advertised.
