    I contacted Star Van Lines to move some furniture from ****** to *************. ******************************* sent me an estimate. We agreed, paid deposit & scheduled the movers. After seeing the items to move they told me our furniture will not fit in the 300 cubic feet reserved for us and it will cost more than estimated. I called ****** while the movers were here and ****** told the movers it will fit. The movers went outside and called someone and after 45 minutes drove away. I text the driver to ask why he left (no answer). I called ****** to ask where the movers went & to find out what was going on (no answer). 3 hours later ****** returns my call to say he was at the doctor with his son. I told him we wanted to be refunded our deposit. He said "it's nonrefundable and he could get ****************. I said we no longer trusted his movers nor him. So he begins to say "this is a recorded line". I said; "good I want to speak to your supervisor". He said; I am my own boss". Followed by "So, you are denying service". I said; "no, you breached the contract therefore we are hiring another mover" and "we want our deposit back". He continued to repeat the above comments over and over again. I hung up. I went back to ******'s email to review the agreement and estimate and got a message that the link had timed out. So, I started emailing and calling ******'s mobile to ask for these documents. Even called the customer service number but ****** answered it. Every time I called he had an excuse why he could not get these to me... It's my day off, I'm at the ** with my son and on and on. Then he began sending pictures from the ** saying I feel like you think I'm a liar. I told him; I don't care about his personal life... this is all business. Just send me the receipt and agreement and he would not hear from me again. After a week; he finally resent the documents. He has not refunded the deposit. Horrible experience.

    Character limit allows only **** characters and full review is over ****, so here is the bullet point version:- No paper copies of bill of lauding or inventory provided, refused to go through inventory and demanded we sign off and pay. No easy way to sign on PDF provided. Owner signed for delivery despite not being at delivery, already filled in the date line I was supposed to sign - Stated that he accepted ***** but his phone was broken so he would get it when the phone was fixed. Later stated he did not receive the initial payment and requested it get sent again. Attempted to take out money twice and denied attempting to do so despite receipt on our end showing he did - Changed his accepted methods of payment within 24 hours of delivery to cash only, was likely forced to accept money orders via ********* - Disassembled an item *********** oven) completely and refused to reassemble it without 30 minutes of arguing, failed to reassemble it before having his movers leave - it is still disassembled - When owner was called on his attempted scams, became extremely rude and continuously attempted to blame my wife and I for not being nice people.

    Super bad experience. Move took 3 times as long ********* and they charged us more than quoted. Did not deliver all our items and dropped the remaining items 4 miles from our home. Avoid them!

    When **ordinated with this moving ** for my move. Explain urgency to get my stuff from the state moving to ******* was told by the supervisor even in texts he said yes it would go from where the stuff is picked up right to state as I was following the truck to **me.Price I was quoted is the reason why I signed on with this moving **mpany thinking it would be good. It started when the driver showed up with the guy the mover walked off the job before they even started and I had to help for the first hour and 15 min as the driver had no help.**ntinued getting things loaded once people showed up to load they kept changing their prices and jumped from **** and some change to over $4400. Confirm for we even left we were going to Georgia the Supervisor text back, yes. But started heading in a different direction . No one at one time ever said that the driver would be going to *************.When I talk to the department, the young lady said he needed to rest that they were going to change out drivers.I reached out to the supervisor this morning and his first response was we have to get the truck loaded first. I said the truck was loaded yesterday. I have made several calls was told to call customer service and theyre saying possibly tomorrow now nobody knows where my stuff is at and nobodys telling me anything at this point. Today theyre trying to say they have up to ****************************** When I found out about my stuff going to ***************, I offered to tell them I will hire a U-Haul when the gentleman gets to ***************. I will load myself and will take our stuff from there and they said they were locking my stuff up . I was not able to get a U-Haul to get my belongings from them. They are very unethical, they lie , every person I have **mmunicated with them have all told me different things, pricing **nstantly changed, and I have no idea when we will get our stuff and they left us with nothing or if Ill even get it. I do not re**mmend this **mpany

    We recently engaged Star Van Lines for our relocation from two apartments to a single house. Our experience with them was quite satisfactory. The positive reviews I had previously come across were accurate. The team was punctual, professional, and courteous, providing a solid level of service. We'll definitely consider them for any future moving needs.

    I had to arrange a last-minute move with Star Van Lines. My mom had lived in a three-bedroom home for 15 years and was downsizing to a one-bedroom apartment. They arrived promptly at 9 am and efficiently wrapped up the job by 6 pm. The team displayed professionalism and took excellent care of my ***************. Special thanks to ********, ******* for their hard work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to anyone in need of a moving company
