  Ordered a Borla Type-S Exhaust from them using my fiancees card and said that they couldn't verify the card I used cause I changed the shipping address? They had the audacity to say that the screenshot I took was fabricated that included everything they asked for in the email they sent me. If I had known their verification process was so dated I would have sent a recording of my fiancee giving authorization to purchase the exhaust and also include a video of the invoice from our apple card. Ridiculous! Im saddened as they are a partner of ***** themselves and treat potential big ticket buyers like this. I would not recommend, take your business elsewhere or purchase directly from ***** as this business will think any modern cards will be fake. AVOID!

  We are an online business and as such liable for the card not present transactions. One of the main fraud practices by consumers is listing one billing address and a separate shipping address which was exactly what occurred with the transaction for this customer. The billing address and name stated one persons name and address, the shipping requested to ship to another person and address. Our card processor rates transactions as Low Risk, Medium Risk and High Risk. This customer's transaction was rated High Risk. We emailed the customer and asked if we could ship to the verified billing address. The customer stated they preferred it to ship to the shipping address. We asked for verification of our business name and  phone number exactly as it appears on their card transaction at 1:17PM. We did not receive a reply until four hours later. The reply came in a screenshot which most people can perform instantly and did not include our phone number which for account verification is a separate number than the published number for contacting us.  This was a second red flag. It appeared that it had taken time to photo shop a screen shot with our name. The decision was made to cancel the order rather than risk a chargeback to us for the $999.99.  It is unfortunate that there are people who commit this fraud and put our business in the position of trying to accommodate customers but at risk when we are deceived into shipping to a non card holder.  We are open to discuss with this customer the option of shipping to the verified billing address.

  Awesome company, 2cd Borla exhaust I've bought from this *** in 3 years.SS Exhaust/ATC Performance. **************** excellent to work with The product always arrives in good condition and in good time frame.   This is a horrible company. The send out inferior parts just so they can charge a restocking fee when you return them. They also use two separate names (atc performance). It's just a shady outfit. Beware

Borla sells at List/Retail. Borla Permits their Authorized Dealers to sell at MAP. This a lower price than Retail.

  Customer ************** called to cancel his order after the exhaust had already shipped out to him. We were able to sent the customer a return authorization and stated there would be a return to stock fee as shipping a full exhaust is very expensive. He received the exhaust and did not use the return authorization. He kept the exhaust system and filed a chargeback. The dispute managerment investigated the claim, approved our submission and reversed the chargeback. Please remove this bad review. We sell the Borla manufacturer exhaust systems which come with a million mile warranty, made in ******* and known as a top rated exhaust company. Our corporate name is ATC Performance and one of our websites and dba's is SS-Exhaust.com.   I requested cancellation within an hour of ordering. It's clear this company are just bad actors in the business community. I learned that I would never ever use them again. I think others should be warned.
