      This company is not handling the emergency rental assistance program ethically. They are tampering with peoples federal relief money and giving no explanation to the applicants about what is going on with their money and they make It impossible to contact anyone regarding the issues. Some people who were approved for funding and had checks issued only to get to the bank to deposit the checks and instead find out the checks have a stop payment on them. No accountability with this company and when they do finally pay the applicants it’s for way less then requested. Tenants are being given no recourse for being denied and landlords are complaining about loosing their properties because of not being paid for two years. This whole thing is ridiculous it’s embarrassing to know that this company was contracted by the state of california to disperse emergency funds and yet there is no transparency or any way to contact a person in charge of complaints. These workers have access to our private information yet they work from home, I don’t understand how this is a safe practice. The governor needs to look into this mess and do something about it because a class action lawsuit is in the process of being formed right now against Horne llp.
