    DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!They backed out of our agreement and completely screwed us over leaving us in a bad place. They had every ounce of information up front in addition to looking at our house before they made an offer. ******* mentioned the market and similar places on the market and they still extended us an offer after mentioning he talked to Chris (the owner) multiple times. The offer was already well below market price (even though they advertise fair pricing - they would have made about *****k gross) but was favorable to both parties. However, when the ****************** search came back clean, they decided to back out of our agreement because they realized they could not s**** us over so they could make more money than they already were. Repairs would have only taken about 5k, leaving them with about 20k but that wasn't enough for them.We have all of the text messages and documentation to back up these claims and happy to share with anyone who doubts this review.Also BEWARE, their contracts heavily favor them and offer little to no protection for you (the seller). For example, their contract states they can cancel the deal if the inspection is unsatisfactory but nothing is define. Meaning if they find a splinter sticking out of the floor, they can cancel the deal with no recourse for the seller.Additionally, they do not follow what they advertise. You do not get to pick your closing date, but only a time span of when you want to close. They do not buy houses "as is" like they claim.Overall, their business practices are unethical and I would not recommend them. They would have zero or negative stars if it were an option.

    Chris Buys Homes mails unsolicited offers to your home with a check for a specific amount attached. The letter states they have a cash offer waiting for your immediate response. If we dont hear from you by a specific date this cash offer will be terminated. This is not a joke and is a real cash offer. BUT NOT ONLY IS IT A JOKE, ITS VERY MISLEADING and DECEPTIVE!! The cash offer in the letter is never discussed when you call, and the quote is typically $30 to ******* less!

    My name is ***** H and I just assisted my Mom with selling her home to Chris Buy Homes in St. Louis. The first ****** I worked with was ***** *. He was very professional, patient and great to work with in negotiating a sale price for my Mom house. He made me feel comfortable with the sale and ensured me that the price we agreed to wouldnt change and it didnt. He understood the responsibility my Mom had trusted in me in this sale and he genuinely wanted to help to ensure I didnt fail and I didnt.Tellee B was the gentleman who met us at the resident to conduct the inspection of the property. He was very professional and informational and put myself, brother and mom at ease by advising us that everything looks good and it should be a go, which I needed to hear, because I never sold a house through this method As Is and over the internet.Finally, I was contacted by **** B with the transition team who was also professional and easy to work with in addition to professionally dealing with my unsureness behavior, due to never selling a home through a company online and As Is.With all that said, Chris Buy Homes in St. Louis stand by their advertisement and do great business in buying your home at a respectable price.For the record, I contacted (6) other companies that buy homes As Is and Chris Buy Homes in St. Louis was my company for business hands down.
