  Great business! Alberternst is the best building contractor. This is a American Veteran owned and operated company. We are using them for a **************. They built our 40x80 garage and it is beautiful. I wish I could share a picture. I am super impressed by how they listened to what we wanted and made it work out beautifully. The crew really takes pride in their craft. The do quality work, fair pricing, and the communication is excellent. I wish we found them sooner!

  There are many things I could say about this company and my experience but I will list a few of the reasons why I would not recommend this company (at least for concrete work). 1. They did not start when they promised they would. (3 weeks later than when they said it would be done)2. When they did start the owner asked for more money. (Granted he had someone else bid the job and they promised things they apparently should not have. I am thankful that after discussions with the owner, he agreed to do the job at the price agreed. I do find it unprofessional though that he was telling me how this guy is getting fired after this job if something doesnt get worked out)3. When they poured the driveway, the excess concrete was pushed onto my neighbors property and never cleaned up. (I talked with the owner about this and he said sorry, I will be out tomorrow to cut in your driveway and will break it up and take it away in the morning once it dries. When he comes out the next morning, I remind him and he says **** take care of it before he leaves. For the next week I call or text him every day to which he gives excuses and says **** be out the next day. Concrete was never removed and my neighbor kept asking for it to be removed so I had to break it up and remove it the day of my wedding) 4. The bottom of the cedar trim around my garage was damaged while they were tearing the old driveway out and the owner didnt do anything about it. 5. They left screws all over my yard and a few on my driveway after taking the forms off. Overall, I do at least have a driveway and the workers were nice and knowledgeable. They had a few great suggestions and the driveway does drain well just as it should. Maybe this was a fluke because of the situation but I would not trust them to do another job.

  I want to start by apologizing for the bad experience On the aftercare of the project. Timeliness on start date was pushed back due to weather issues. 175 sqft of additional concrete was added to the project at no expense to the customer. Customer also requested to adjust one full side of the driveway from not knowing his old driveway was on the property of his neighbor, adjustment were made morning of the concrete pour with no additional charge to the customer. Cedar siding damage was never mentioned to the owner upon payment of the driveway being finished. Driveway was walked with property owner prior to completion. Once again I apologize for the lack of aftercare. I reached out for partial refund for the inconvenience, no response from the home owner.
