    Purchase from Custom Granite & Tile, **** * ******** ********** *********** ** and paid 1/2 down on 4/8/21. Builder was not ready for the granite and Custom Granite agreed to hold the granite till builder was ready for it. Billing dated 1/5/22 from Builder had the completed balance for this job and was paid with this billing. We covered the counters in the kitchen as the home was not completed and we did not want other workers to do any damage. We did not uncover the counters until June 12, 2022 when we were moving in. In looking at the granite counters, it appeared that the largest piece of granite counter had not been buffed. In contacting Custom Granite, I was advised that they would take care of it. They had at no time advised of any fee associated with taking care of this problem. An appt was set for Jan 26 which they did not show nor was a call made to me advising they would not be able to make it. I called the office and advised that the installers told her they were here. I advised her that they had not been here as I have a "Ring" camera system and they had not showed up so they were either lying to her or she was lying to me. She advised she would check into it and called back advising they would be here Monday. They did come today (Jan 30th) and buffed and sealed the granite counters in the kitchen area. The owner + a helper were here a half hour and presented me with a $400 invoice. I advised the owner "your going to charge me for something that's been this way since day one"? The owner advised they had a one year guarantee and he was the one that was here for that install. He advised he had buffed and sealed this counter. Note: He also was the one that came out to measure and measured incorrectly even using a computer laser system & still had to cut into the drywall to make the granite fit. Anyone reading this can draw your own conclusion as to whether you want to use this business or not. I will never recommend this business to anyone.
