    Complaint: 22763904

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

This is a New Car where a battery was literally just replaced by the dealership before I ever drove it off the lot( Replaced same day I got the vehicle). For me to only to have had the vehicle less than a month and the battery dies doesnt even seem feasible. On top of that, the customer was rude when I first called to inform them of the issue and gave ignorant comments like Turn the defrost on and start the car it should be fine and just blatantly hanging up in my face. I did also have a long time customer of theirs as well with me that can verify the content of our call as it was on speaker and they even hung up on him when he attempted to call them as well. If the battery was bad then locking the car and even driving it out once the job was done should have been impossible.

Another feature that should be noted with this vehicle that you wouldnt know unless you did research or own one would be, it doesnt just die as a bad battery because it notifies you when your voltage falls under 12.1 (the minimum amount of voltage needed to start). This alert should have came up if that truly was a bad battery.

These are features that YOU WOULDNT know if you didnt own or check your manual. I do not accept this response because this is just an EXCUSE to make it seem as if the business isnt wrong. I have an appointment with ********** dealershipship Friday and I would like the company to cover the charges for any issues that would have started with the electrical system and issues due to battery dying.

    Sincerely,

    ****** ******

st on & open glovebox it should be fine. This not the first time Ive had a issue with them but first time they just being ignorant as can be. Again I KNOW the battery didnt just die because its a newer that was already replaced in order to PREVENT issues like this they dont want to take responsibility for this for whatever reason. What I would like to see happen is since Ive already fixed the major electrical codes once, they repair/replace my motor for the sunroof. It will be done by the dealership but I want them to cover the charges for the repair.

The consumer came to our shop with a bad battery. While applying the tint to the windows, we need to have the vehicle on. In this process the battery died and they saw us jump the car and he drove off after the work was completed.

When I tint a car, I have to have the door open.  I have to beable to let the windows up and down.  When your battery went dead, we jumped it with jump box when you was here.  It started up.   You drove off.  You called the dealer and they told u what to do to reset the car.  I KNOW OUR FRIEND IS NOT AGREEING WITH YOU.  I talked to everyone about this situation to see what was going on.  If my company has ever been at fault about anything, I have no problem stepping up.

I had to give your car a jump.  I didn't do any internal damage.  If this what happens to a car if it has to have a jump, something else has to be the problem.
