  I contracted with R & S Handyman Express, LLC a few months ago to remodel my basement, after a disreputable contractor abandoned my job, having been substantially paid.**** was very understanding, knowledgeable about the details involved in working on an older home, and did a terrific job, always emphasizing that he wanted to make sure that I was happy with the work. ****** experience and ability to handle a variety of circumstances encountered along the way (a city-inspection snafu-the city's fault, not *****) were invaluable.I would definitely recommend R and S Handyman Express***** and would hire **** to do my next job.DB in ***************

  **** is a fast talking salesman but doesn't provide what he sells. I paid him $1,000 cash to fix multiple holes in my condo and a few other miscellaneous things and over a period of 4 months he couldn't even get a second coat of mud on the drywall. He put everything he had going on before my job including bigger jobs, deer hunting etc. My tenant made many complaints about his behavior and informed me that he wasn't evening doing the work but that some other gentleman was and **** was leaving him on site. He had to fix the sink 3 times because he couldn't get a simple leak fixed. He spent 20 minutes in the unit each time he came and got nothing done. When we decided he was no longer going to do the work as my tenant didn't want him there anymore he was quick to tell me that he owed me money. A few weeks later when I asked him for a small, partial refund he refused. He spent 15 minutes fooling with a breaker, fixed a sink 3 separate times that he couldn't clearly figure out and installed 2 pieces of drywall and did one coat of mud and thinks $1,000 is a fair price. I had another handyman come over and finish the job in a single 2 hour period of time. I wouldn't recommend **** to anyone he is a ******** and the first thing he asked me when my tenant said they no longer wanted him there was if she was on government assistance. He is unprofessional and I literally paid him $1,000 cash to do a half a day's work that never got done.
