Came here to replace a tire and get another checked for leaks. The ******** the man in charge showed me was MORE than halfway gone, almost bald and he was trying to charge $69 plus tax on a tire LESS than 5/32 tread depth. I asked this guy why so much, and he basically says because he can. Then I ask so yall are ripping people off and he looks me directly in my eyes and says YES. So I declined and opted to use a good tire I already had in my trunk from a previous visit to the same location that they tried to steal from me because it was a good tire. I only noticed they were trying to steal the tire because they always ask if you are going to pay a $5 disposal fee or take the old tire with you and they didnt ask that , the guy just walked off to the back with my tire.So now one of the tire guys goes to check my other tire for leaks, he showed me and it was clearly leaking at the very edge so he says it needs to be resealed so I agree. As Im watching I notice he doesnt remove the tire from the wheel and clean the edges of the rim like your supposed to for a reseal to hold up so I called him out on it and even said something to the man in charge and he does nothing. So I say forget it and pay. As the guy is putting the tire back on the car, I roll the window down and notice the impact gun sounds weak like its not tightening the lug nuts. I let him finish, he waves me on letting me know hes done but instead of leaving I check my own lugs before I leave the lot and they are all loose which the guy did on purpose because I told him he didnt do the reseal right. I confront the guy and he pretends to know nothing acting clueless. Anybody that knows an impact gun can tell when its not tightening because there is a noticeable difference. If you do not know how to check a tires tread depth or at least be able to tell if its a good tire, DO NOT GO HERE. They will take advantage of you!
