Called to get a refund today for a policy I was tricked into getting yesterday. Lady refused to send me any confirmation of the refund being processed or the cancellation of the policy. So well see if she was telling the truth. Its 2025 email confirmation for an online purchase being reversed should be standard procedure!Review fromMatt V

The legal definition of "Fraud" is "A knowing misrepresentation or knowing concealment of a material fact made to induce another to act to his or her detriment." and the definition for "Misrepresentation" is "The act or an instance of making a materially false or misleading assertion about something with the intent to deceive." That is exactly what this company's sales person did today to sell my wife an extended warranty. I was skeptical about the call, but the car was bought and financed by my wife's mom so I did not have any idea about when the car was bought or the financial status of the car. Turns out the car was paid off a year ago. Im also sure the salesman knew this. Not only did the salesman tell me that us worked for and was a representative for *****, he told us that what he was selling was a legal requirement knowing **** well it isn't. That is the literal definition of fraudulent misrepresentation. When I called back to cancel my policy, the woman I spoke to had the audacity to question me about why I thought the salesman misrepresented himself. I do not owe an explanation to anyone and know when a company is shady, but these practices were **** near illegal. On top of that, once I was FINALLY able to get confirmation that the policy had been "cancelled", the woman hung up on me before I could request confirmation of the cancellation. We'll see if the money ever gets returned to out account. Long story short, this company is a scam, do NOT do business with them, don't trust a word they say, and hang up if they ever call you. I NEVER write reviews, but If I could give them negative stars I would.Review fromDarius S

My finances are tight and I needed to cut back on some expenses. Since I won't be using my vehicle often, I decided to suspend the extended warranty temporarily. I contacted the accounting department and when I spoke to a representative he did not accept that I needed to cancel my policy. He kept repeating that I will spend more money in vehicle repairs if I don't have a warranty, He also offered me a discount. But the discount was 10 dollars off and not enough to convince to stay with eleras. If I was offered the discount from the time I started my policy with Eleras I might not have cancelled my warranty. However I will not be driving as much and when I do drive it within a 10 min driving radius. When I asked the representative to transfer me to his supervisor he said "I'm not going to transfer the call" He was not rude but I felt intimidated and belittled. When he finally gave in and cancelled my policy I asked for a email documentation stating that Eleras has cancelled my policy he refused to do so. I do not recommend this company and the fact I am writing a negative review this long expresses my uncomfortable and intimidated experience. Since the calls are recorded, I hope my phone interaction catches wind of the supervisor and fire the individual. I recommend that Eleras Automotive Group weed out the employees who partake in intimidation tacticsReview fromGary C

This company continues to send "urgent" notices about the expiration of the warranty of my Ram. I do not want to receive any mail, email, texts or phone calls regarding this service.First of all, I have never sought extended warranty services for any of my vehicles.Secondly, the language used in the correspondence still could easilly convince nearly any naive person that they should jump on the chance to save money. According to many of the complaints, money would more likely be lost, instead.I do not own a Ram, which is my first hint that this is a scam.Concerning also is that the name of the issuing company is unusually difficult to find. It is cleverly hidden and one must read everything carefully to find it. I searched for the company's website and found that the only way I could contact them was to either call them or fill out the form to be contacted on how to subscribe to their service. I certainly will not call them because I expect that I would be faced to deal with more trickery and heavy-handed attempts to get me to sign up for the service.Review fromSarah C

Im trying to cancel my vehicle warranty and get a prorated refund. ( My reason to cancel is MY REASON!!!!!) with Eleras automotive group, and they are giving me the run around on canceling it! I think they are trying to buy time so they can use the non payment excuse on me. My debit card has been canceled so they keep calling me about my payment not going through. I think when a person wants to cancel a service or a supposed service should I say, of course the payment wont go through ( **** idiots ) I am canceling my warranty!!!!!!! I dont know what else to do, these people been uncooperative with me for the past week and a half and are really applying stress on meEleras Group, LLC
