  I used J Southland Towing for a short tow and was initially quoted $171. When I called back to confirm, the price had unexpectedly increased to $195, despite no changes in the distance or service requested. I accepted the new quote, but after the tow was completed, I was charged even more—without explanation or a receipt. The driver loaded my vehicle onto the tow truck before confirming or accepting payment. Once I handed him a card (which belonged to my mother, who had agreed to cover the cost), I was told her ID was also required. I attempted to call her, but she was at work. The driver was unhelpful and cold throughout the interaction, eventually stating he would "take the card but if it bounces, I’m in trouble." This felt inappropriate and condescending, especially given that payment had not yet been denied. The experience was uncomfortable, the payment policy was not made clear up front, and I was ultimately charged more than quoted—after the fact—with no written breakdown. I’m requesting that the overcharge be reviewed and refunded, and that the company clarifies its payment ID policies for future customers.

  Failed to pay several employees their final paychecks in full. Literally took over $500 from my husbands paycheck for “training” uhm what? Please use literally any other tow service

  I will never use this company again I had a vehicle towed to my new home. Handed the driver the key and we discussed him leaving the key in a certain place inside the vehicle. Instead of him telling me that the key got stuck in the ignition before he even left he just left it in there and left my vehicle with the key stuck in the ignition. I called it in to the dispatcher the 1st one I talked to was pretty understanding and consulted her manager so when I talked to the manager she was very defensive and not very understanding. She kept asking how can we resolve the problem but insisted that I payed to get the car jumped why do i have to pay for the drivers mistake. They are a whole tow truck company and have the tools to get the keys out. I will never use there service again because the issue did not get resolved. I got very frustrated with the overly defensive manager
