    I booked with the new owner, *********************, to get a tattoo in honor of my father who is deceased. I sent her a folder full of reference images, and I paid a fee for custom art, and a deposit to hold my tattoo appointment. I booked 3 weeks in advance, and she didnt contact me until 2 weeks prior to the appointment. She said she would send me multiple designs over that time span. 3 days before my appointment, I had received nothing from her and checked in. She said she would send me one that night. She did not. The day before my appointment, I offered to reschedule to give her more time. She declined. That night she sent me an unfinished sketch that looked nothing like what Id sent her, so I drew a very detailed image on my iPad of what I wanted and asked if she would just finish the background, knowing we had very limited time. The day of my appointment she asks if we can reschedule, like Id offered before. She said shed send me a finished piece that night and give me a day to look over it before my appointment and make any changes. She didnt send me anything until midnight, and had completely changed the drawing I sent for her to finish. At this point, I had a bad taste in my mouth and politely cancelled, telling her that she could keep the design fee, but to send me back my appt reservation fee. She ignored my messages for 3 days, and finally responded when I told her I would report her to the BBB. She sent back a ridiculously hateful message claiming that the appt fee was not refundable and that I should have known that (despite not telling me that once). She sent me my money back with a message that read You wasted my time, youre banned from my studio and told me I was never allowed to set foot in her studio again, and that she hopes I learn something from this. I was polite through the entire process, never once got upset, and even apologized for things that were her fault. ***** is very unprofessional and the way she speaks to customers is abhorrent.
