    Bought a controller from a convention two months ago emailing them back-and-forth and they are not willing to get back to me about my refund and refuse to get my money back. Horrible customer service and the people were very greedy when they realize I was paying with cash. Also called the customer service line was put on hold for 1 HOUR with the robot telling me Im first in line

    Business was terrible. My purchase of a controller was delayed 4 months from having ordered it, and unlike other controller customization companies, there was no update to the customer as to the progress of the ********************* production. So we had to wait, with 0 updates, for 4 months, to the point where we began thinking we werent going to get any product for our purchase. And then, when we finally received our controller, outside of the color scheme, there was no details of our specifications for the controllers design. Would not ever recommend, as purchasing an item from this company leaves you in the dark, and without the product you paid for, as nothing you specify to be added to the controller outside of a simple paint job is added.

    CONTACT ME BACK I ordered a custom controller from Controller Chaos on December 18, 2024 (Order #CC-3527) for $351 as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. Its now March 1, 2025, and I still dont have itor any clear answers. I paid for expedited shipping to ensure it arrived by Christmas, but tracking never worked, and it didnt show up. Since then, its been a nightmare trying to get a response. Ive emailed them multiple times (December 24, December 27, January 5, January 23, February 26) and only got vague, copy-paste replies blaming delays on their hand-built process with no firm ***. One rep guessed late January on January 8, but that came and went. I even waited on hold for nearly two hours one day, tried every extension, and left my number (--****) for a callback that never happened. This was a special gift, and Im beyond disappointednot just by the delay, but by their lack of communication and accountability. Spending $351 for this level of customer service is ridiculous. Id love to update this review if they finally step up, but right now, Id warn anyone to think twice before ordering. Date of experience: December 18, 2024

    I honestly think this company is a scam. I placed my order on 11/14/3024, I have yet to receive my order. The only updates that I have gotten from them is when I reach out. Even then their reply takes about a week to receive. They dont have anyone ******* the phones. I have called multiple times in a row only for the same thing to happen every time. I would call, they would saw I have 5 people in front of me with a wait time of 8 minutes. The thing would update me every 2 minutes that I have moved up in place. At the ***************************************************************************************************************** I could wait on the line. Mind you I would be first in line at this point. After telling it I would wait, it tells me Im 3rd in line and a 8 minute wait time. At the 20 minute mark it tells me that all customer service representatives are busy and forcefully hangs up. This shouldnt be how you run a business. I am in the process of trying to get a refund now. Will see how long that takes to get a reply out of them.

    Ordered a controller in July as a gift for my son. A month or so went by and I emailed for an update. They responded quickly to that email explaining the process and that the order was on track to be delivered by September. It will be December soon and we do not have the controller. Ive emailed multiple times for an update. No response. My son did not pick an overly customized controller. It should not take this long. The lack of responses is frustrating. Im paying monthly on a product we still dont have and at this point I dont think we will get and I probably wont be able to cancel because they dont respond.

    How this company has sponsors at all, I will never know. They’re very clearly a scam. I ordered a fight stick now over a year ago, and have not received it STILL. I was calling them weekly, trying to find out why it just never shipped, and the representative on the phone just gave me the same runaround responses as to why. I’m sure I won’t get it. And as of this writing, I believe they’ve blocked my number so I cannot even call anymore. Do not buy from them, not even at whatever convention they pop up at.

    I'm torn on what to think right now. I have used Controller Chaos a lot in the past and NEVER had issues. I've probably ordered a total of 6 or 7 controllers for myself, friends, and family. But I haven't ordered on in a couple years. Until this year. I ordered a controller in April and have yet to get it. They changed their site which stopped allowing me to track my order. Email worked for a little then that stopped. Now I have to call to get update. For the past month in a half to two months they keep saying it would be sent in a couple days. That went on for about 3 weeks. Then finally said it would be sent the next day because it was actively being worked on during that phone call (Tuesday Aug 13th). Well it still didn't ship out. Went to call today (friday), they're closed. ****** says open. I get it things can change and not be updated. Well I was going to wait to call until today just in case if something happened to give them time. But also potentially cancel my order. I'm tired of the run around, the stalling, and excuses or reasons why it can't be done. Maybe it's inflation, maybe it's a shortage (which they told me twice they didn't have two different items to build at two different time) but it all is starting to seem fishy. I don't know what has happened to the company but it's ashame.

    Same issue as ******* below!! It's been 5 months. New excuse everytime. Got a tracking number but it's still never been sent. **** didn't pick up, I'll drop it off today". We've been extremely on top of it, and still no luck. Pretty sure **** is the only one working there. He goes and "yells" at people and gets it taken care of, but never does anything.

    Horrible service. 7 months later and still full of excuses and no controller. That department gone for the day, the parts we need to finish. This just came in, the parts that just came in were wrong, its in production now, youll have a tracking number today, heard that for over six months. Still no refund would never ever recommend business with them.

    Hello, I am an electronics, electrical and RF engineer and I do board level repairs on electronic devices pretty regular alongside designing communications infra, so I am no stranger to this.Anyways I got an xbox one wireless controller brought to me by a friend with the clain that the controller malfunctioned, went haywire and then died. It will not charge a battery or turn on with a hot battery installed. Upon analysis I was able to work out the problem quite quickly that this was not an issue caused bt the device owner or ********* but rather I found a 3rd party unbranded PCB loose in the casing due to no securing hardware. It relies on pin tension of an IC socket to hold the board in place, in a controller, in the hands of a kid or adult gamer or both. Controllers see abuse and stress from the person(s) using them so I cannot wrap my head around why the hot snot option to hold parts in place in such a device that will see all sorts of motions, G forces and bumps into things... I mean the mod board just relies on friction and physics and luck cause they didnt even use that hot glue there and that is the main place that needs something holding things together. Because if this decision, U1 was deemed damaged due to cap fracture, The literal chip shorted out to the mod board and sat there for a while and the IC's encapsulation material cracked, destroying the chip die and IC, thus rendering the whole device damaged beyond financially responsible repair that is by the letter. I can offer my friend the option to have me junk all but the controller and the mod board and used working salvaged PCB from other xb1 controllers as well as improve the mod PCB with mounting option and circuit connections so we 86 that IC socket means of connecting the board. Same for the tactile switches, I can design and fab a PCB to utilize the rubber dome type switch like the controller has already and route that flat ribbon out of pinch points.
