      If I could give a negative number for this company, I would. The company filed our taxes late and did not notify us this was an issue until we received a letter from the Missouri Department of Revenue regarding a fiduciary tax notice of adjustment that was owed. In addition, the company charged us a $19.00 application extension fee which was never brought to our attention in advance. After multiple attempts over several months to get an answer and resolution the owner just kept saying he was out of town and would address it when he returned which never occurred. They also changed the fees for completing the taxes after giving us an initial quote. Overall, not trustworthy or ethical in how they do business based on my experience.

      I apologize for the negative experience Ms. K***** had with our firm. Managing client expectations during our busiest periods can be challenging. Ms. K***** dropped off her information at our Liberty office on 3/9/2023, which coincided with the peak tax season information exchange, where we typically handle  hundreds of returns per week. Upon drop-off, we inform every client that if we cannot process their data before the filing deadline, we will file an extension on their behalf to prevent late filing penalties. It seems that Ms. K***** was dissatisfied with the explanation that workload or volume caused the delay in preparing her returns.

      We prioritize return preparation based on the order they are received, we may occasionally adjust the order for special circumstances or if there's a significant balance due that could result in substantial penalties and interest. While it's unfortunate that Ms. K***** feels we are not trustworthy or ethical, we strive to be fair and reasonable in all our dealings.

      It's worth noting that it's unusual for Ms. K***** to file a complaint a year after the incident. We take feedback seriously and are committed to addressing any concerns promptly.
