  I thought what I had was a clogged kitchen sink, the disposal wasn’t working and I needed a better connection to my fridge for water and ice. Jonathan came and explained what was needed and quoted me OVER $1600!!! This was after the “discounts” (always beware when they do this; they want you to think they’re giving you a deal) and necessary membership that would “significantly reduce the cost”. .I’m a single senior woman and it was WAY more than expected. I called my daughter to see if she could help me out. I put her on speaker as she had.pertainent questions. As the conversation progressed and she was aware that her father in law had plumbing experience, the job had now turned into a pretty easy fix that could be done by almost anyone. Why wasn’t I told this upfront????? I paid for the service call and sent him on his way. A few hours later the electrician came as requested. SEE MY OTHER REVIEW.

  Mrs. D*****, I am sorry to hear about your experience with our company the other day. It is never our intention to provide anything less than premium service. It looks like we quoted you for three different tasks. We do have different pricing for tasks depending on if it is sold as a single item as opposed to being sold in bundle form. 1) replacing your garbage disposal: Stand alone price = $792 / bundle price = $641.70 2) Re-Pipe your drains under your kitchen sink, and adding and air admittance valve: Stand Alone Price = $765 / Bundle Price = $620.10 3) Install Refrigerator Supply Shutoff : Stand alone Price = $284 / Bundle Price : $0 ( we threw it in for free) Bundle Total (Price after and additional 6% discount for being a senior citizen and having served in the military) : $1,330.10 This did include our membership cost of $144/ year. But the reason we added that was to give you the 10% discount that comes with the membership. Essentially you would have paid $144 to receive a $155.70 discount. We apologize if it came across like we were just trying to add to the total of the job. We were honestly just trying to do our best to save you as much money as we could. I understand that our price was higher than you expected. (Seems like everything is going up in price in today's world) but it looks like we did everything in our power to get the cost as low as we could for you. But all that being said, I still don't want you to feel as if we have wronged you in any way. If refunding you the $89 that you spent with us the other day would help ease your mind with this situation, I am happy to do so! Let me know how you would like to proceed.   We had a routine maintenance check performed by ************************* on 1 Nov 2022. He was prompt (appreciated the text informing us of when he was enroute to our location), courteous and very thorough. He even showed where we could realize a savings through purchase of a club membership for spring and fall maintenance, and we capitalized on it. He did point out that we should consider a flu replacement, since our's is showing signs of rust, and we will probably capitalize on it on then next visit. ***** Summit H&C put in a new top-of-the line ***************** system shortly after we moved to ***** Summit. The system we inherited with the house was on life support when we purchased the home in 2018. The new system was an upgrade over the old one and made a world of difference. However, it exposed another problem; insufficient insulation in the attic relative to duct work. We now have condensation pooling on our ceiling in two areas during triple digit heat, and I know the complicit ducts require better insulation. The reason I selected 4 stars vs 5 stars is I waited until cooler weather to inquire with ***** Summit H&C about having these ducts insulated properly, and I was quoted an estimate price of $199 (just for the estimate; does not include maintance cost) and I thought that this estimate quote was a little exorbitant; especially when I was seeking one in the cooler months to be considerate to the technician (the heat in the attic can be unbearable in the summer months). Other than that, I have nothing but positives to share concerning this business. We will continue to be repeat customers!
