  A-Mrazek moved me from a house to an apartment within the same city on June 25, 2024. I have (had) a St. ******* statue that was not one solid piece; the hands were separate and inserted in the arms. When I first got it the nursery staff told me not to pick the statue up by the hands for just that reason. I explained that to the movers, and they were careful putting it in the truck. However, when they arrived at the destination, as the statue was being unloaded the mover that seemed to be the team lead told the other guy who was helping him not to pick it up by the hands. He wasn't listening, and did it anyway, with the result that the hand come out of the arm. That in itself was repairable and not a big deal, but he then proceeded to drop it on concrete, where it shattered, and THAT is not repairable. I was standing with a few feet when all this happened so I saw this firsthand. I had put ************* on the statue hand at one point in the past just to make it more stable, and as long as you didn't pick the statue up by the hand that had worked just fine. A-Mrazek claimed it had been repaired previously, which it had not because it had never been broken, and are now denying my claim for the damage. They had also thrown empty energy drink cans and plastic water bottles on my grass and just left them there for me to pick up. I did not see that until I went back to the house I had moved from to pick up a few more items and saw them laying by the driveway. That was disrespectful and completely uncalled for.

  Our denial of the claim for the statue is based on a 3rd party inspection report that determined the statue had been previously repaired, prior to the relocation. While not liable based on the report, in an act of good faith, our company offered the customer $150.00 for the statue. She refused our offer. We are willing to offer an additional $100, as another act of good faith, totaling $250.00 for the statue.

  On July 6. 2023, we contracted MRAZEC Moving and Storage to store our household belongings in their storage facility because we were selling our home. On 10/16/23 after buying our new home we retrieved our belongings from storage and had MRAZEC deliver them to our new home. At the time of delivery we were presented with a several page inventory list with itemized goods. We were given the option of verifying the items one by one as they were being unloaded from the truck or to unload without checking. We were told it would take much longer to check each individual item and to our regret we declined the option of individual checking.As the days and weeks of unpacking went by we realized there were many items missing. Some items had sentimental value such as gifts from family and friends. Others had more practical value such as kitchenware. MRAZEC representative said that the company made several attempts to locate our missing items but as of this date nothing has been found. Its been about a year so we have to accept that these items have been permanently lost to us.With respect to damage there was a small degree of expected damage such as cracked ceramics and glass,however there was damage to an antique night table. when we reported the damage we were told that the damage was present before the move!MRAZEC offered us $300 as settlement not nearly enough to cover our replacement costs and does nothing to replace the items of sentimental value.In summary I advise future customers of MRAZEC not to waive their right to an itemized accounting of their property and thereby lose legal recourse.

  ****, thank you for your candid feedback regarding your relocation with A-Mrazek Moving Systems. We regret that you were not satisfied with the outcome of your claim settlement. In reviewing your file, we do show that not all items from your origin home were tendered for transport, per yours and Ms. ******* direction. While our paperwork shows that the claimed missing items were not moved by us, we still performed a warehouse trace, which confirmed that all items tendered for transport were delivered to you. The trace confirmed that there was no evidence of mis-delivery. Regarding the antique table, the 3rd party claim inspector confirmed that there was no evidence of carrier abuse or mishandling. All joints on the table are loose due to age and wear. There is no evidence of impact to indicate carrier mishandling. The lacquered finish on the mirror frame was also confirmed by the 3rd party claim inspector to be peeling/lifting due to the age of the item. There is no evidence of abuse/mishandling by the carrier. With all of this being confirmed, we still offered you a goodwill gesture of $300 for your displeasure with the claim inspection findings.
