I think the workers milked me on moving by working slow. When I complained to the Manager Cole H**********, he emailed me a nasty letter & called me a liar. He is very unprofessional & very unpolite. He should've handle it much better. I wrote all items his workers moved & it was very few, they ended up charging me almost 650.00 & 2 of my dressers were slightly damaged & he said he believed his workers did not do it & I was a liar. My 2 sisters & husband had packed up a truck & an SUV twice, made 2 trips to my new home & back & these 2 workers was not finished with loading 9 items. Then, they suggested a tip, but after the bill, I said no tip. They are not pros! It shouldn't had taken over 3 hours to load that & Cole did not act like a professional...AT ALL. I have the email he wrote to me.

I received a call from this customer immediately after the move was completed complaining about the crew and a dresser they supposedly damaged. They are both driver/crew lead/foreman. I called my guys and they told me the customer was upset that the bill was over $420 which is the minimum. I just submitted payroll today and the Johnny and Clyde both had 55 hours. Not only do they stay extremely busy but they also work for tips so "milking the clock" makes zero sense. Regardind the dresser that had chips, scratches and huge gouges all over it, I asked the crew about that and they both said it was already like that and that they didn't show the customer prior to moving it because it was so obvious. Because this customer didn't want to pay the entire bill, she lied to me about my guys damaging her stuff and basically not being good at their job, both of which are untrue. I would be ashamed of myself.

That is SO untrue. I NEVER brought up getting a discount or money back. I just wanted to complain about $650.00 for 10 to 12 large items being moved & 2 dressers. It is also SO untrue if his workers said that my 2 dressers were already worn out with gouges. My husband purchased that bedroom 3 1/2 years ago & we have the receipt to prove it. Seniors take car of new things & throw out old things. I can take pictures to show these dressers has no scratches except on the top that was not wrapped. I had the young men place most of my furniture on the curb for bulk pick-up so why would I save old scratched up dressers?! That doesn't make sense! One dresser was scratched from my husband moving to Missouri, but these 2 dressers had way too many scratches on it & the wood is clean like new wood under the paint. I could had complained they scratched paint off the new house bedroom door, but I understand things like this happens. There is a discrepancy in his response on Facebook. He stated that the young men only work 40 hours a week. Now, it's 55 hours. That's not important at all. He keeps talking on his workers instead of his bad behavior towards a paying customer. His attitude & unprofessional that's at hand. Moving Pros is not my problem, Cole is. I wish they would send him to ethics classes.

Third time using Moving Pros, first time leaving a review. These guys are incredible every time. Communication is great from the beginning and all three crews I've had have been professional, hard working and friendly. They bring a huge truck, moving pads and dollies and take the utmost care - my moving anxiety goes out the window the second they pull up. This time around ***** and ***** helped with my move and it could not have gone any smoother. They worked together like a perfectly seamless team and shocked me with their speed. I really appreciated *****'s attention to detail - he looked out for the safety of every item they packed up and unloaded, so respectful and personable. ***** is an absolute rock star at packing items into a storage unit - the man has a true gift! I definitely reserved a slightly too-small unit and ***** made it work anyway - shocked and amazed! Do not hesitate to book these guys - they're absolutely incredible, especially for the price.

Our experience was awful. The work was assessed over the phone, and for a home of **** sq. ft., three bed, three bath, a finished, furnished basement and two garages. They sent two people to pack. The workers who arrived and started the work were fine, and did what they could, but they should have quickly realized that they needed more help. When they left we were told they would be able to finish the job the next day. The packing was not done in the time allotted, which caused delay for moving the next day. Three movers arrived the following day, but no extra help for packing. Upon contacting their manager they were told, "It was not their problem." The moving crew, again, did what they could. We attempted to call the offices to arrange for more workers, but we never received any return calls. At the end of the day, we were left with many items still to be packed and moved. None of our calls were ever returned. We spent the rest of our evening packing and organizing the items that were left. The following day, we called in an urgent request for help from friends. It took 12 of us the better part of that day to complete the work, as well as an additional contract with a "junk hauler" to complete the job. What a nightmare. The bulk of our complaint is with the ownership and management of this business. They did not assess the job correctly, they did not assign enough manpower, they would not return calls, they were completely unconcerned with the bind they put us in. Not only would we not recommend this company, we would advise anyone who will listen to stay away!

I'm just seeing this as of Nov 2023 so I don't recall the details but I would never in my life tell a customer something was not my problem. I take care of all my customers so I don't see how or why this one would have been any different. This was the first BBB complaint I've had since opening in 2015 so clearly this situation isn't the norm. I have a feeling this exchange was between this customer and my manager who has since been fired.
