  I must agree with the negative reviews. Our floor installation included plywood installation to keep it level with existing, adjoining hardwood. The finished floor sloped significantly in one area and squeaked in two. (Previously there were no squeaks, neither when the floor was in tile, or before that when it was in linoleum.) Where they tore up, fixed the slope, and secured the plywood with screws -- that squeak went away. They did not want to tear up the floor in front of the sink where the 2nd squeak is. They went underneath from the basement and put in a bunch of shims, and kudos for trying a simple fix first, but unfortunately that made the squeak worse by making it more widespread. It's in a heavily used area and so naturally it's highly annoying. They insist there is nothing they can do about a floor squeak. I'd agree if it was pre-existing, but this is definitely a result of their installation. They have not "done everything" to fix it as they claim; they have declined to pull up that section and fix it. We were also told "not liable" for floor squeaks. If I knew that meant they wouldn't fix what they caused, I'd never have used them. Good guys doing the hard work, terrible customer support from the company.

  We did an installation for ************************* on 11/28 and 11/29/2022. Flooring was installed in kitchen and closet. Existing flooring of tile mortared to substrate was removed and vinyl plank flooring was installed. Before we installed the vinyl plank, we had areas that needed to be fixed due to subfloor deviations due to tile tear out and an area that was out of flat. All areas were then installed with quarter inch plywood over the top of the existing plywood. All areas were checked for squeaks and screws were utilized in several areas throughout the installation. 90% of squeaks were eliminated at that point. Customer claims squeak was not there before. We tried to explain that the layers involved with a tile installation and weight of it masks any issues with structure and squeaks. The installer tried to use shims as well as drive screws from underneath subfloor as well to fix the few remaining squeaks. We were unable to get substrate completely quiet but eliminated much of the problem. This is home that has been built for several years. Movement of wood over time has caused squeaking to develop in the structure of the home. The installer attempted every option he could to eliminate every squeak for this customer.
