If I had the opportunity to give negative stars, I would. I had Heritage Remodeling complete a 3 bed and 2 bath remodel on my home and the owner ******* works at his leisure and has a hard time understanding he works for you. I am an architect by trade and work on commercial design and work with contractors quite a bit. Unfortunately ******* is not one of the good ones that understands the needs of his clients. He was in my home over 8 months to complete a 947 sf remodel where I completed all the demo prior to him starting. He kept taking on new work while squeezing mine in between others. My wife was a month pregnant and despite my requests he was still working and at my house the day we left to go to the hospital to deliver the baby. Over 8 months for a 2 month job max. His drywaller took over 8 weeks and had his girlfriend's step son in working on my house, which is completely unacceptable for a GC to allow to have happen when I am paying a significant amount of money. When ******* wanted to get paid for work that was not completed yet and I refused as it was not ready for payment, ******* pulled his guys from the job and had come back after I wrote him a check. There are many other things to report but I won't bore the reader. Just know ******* thinks he knows more than you and doesn't listen to you when you give him deadlines and he's not a GC, he likes to collect checks more than actually completing work in a timely fashion. Took him 4 months to properly install a single 3 way light switch. I ended the contract and fired him the day we left to go to the hospital and had to have someone else finish the project a few months after we had the newborn home. For 3 months prior to October 2022 I advised I wanted all drywall work complete and that was not done after all that time = fired. He also l insults you in text messages and emails after he aggravates you by not completing work and wanting to collect more money. I would not hire ******* ********
