  Brookdale Farms evidently has a history of hosting cash grab events. I was unaware of this and attended their 2024 adult Easter egg ****. Im leaving this review with the hope that others wont fall victim to their poor business practices.Brookdale boasted 1000 event tickets were sold, yet had very few bathrooms and food/drink vendors. While the manager was giving the instructions for the egg ****, he said Brookdale bought extra eggs to fill due to so many tickets being sold, claiming now everyone would be able to take 15 each (the limit). He said some eggs held slips of paper which read grand prize, meaning the finder would draw for a grand prize. Once that was said, I knew there were going to be issues. Typically a certain piece of candy (which isnt announced until the **** is over) is used to signal a grand prize to prevent cheating. We were told anyone taking more than 15 eggs would be disqualified.The result of Brookdales lack of planning and enforcement of their own rules was people taking unlimited eggs, opening them to select 15 prizes they wanted, and dumping the rest. People turned up to the prize barn with 10+ big prize tickets. No one in my group got a single egg.Brookdale issued an apology which basically said, Sorry you guys didnt like our event, it will be better next year! It was essentially the same apology they issued after the previous years egg **** had a similar outcome.Myself and everyone else in my group contacted Brookdale to request refunds for ***********. Some only had to send an email and were refunded immediately. Others had to email and call, but were eventually refunded. Ive been the unfortunate one of the group who has done all of the above and been ignored by Brookdale. Bottom line: Brookdale is solely out to make money and does not care about the experience of their patrons so long as they are making a profit. Their repeated poor planning of events and inconsistent customer service is a clear indication of such.

  If I could leave zero stars I would. My group of 7 attended their adult Easter egg ****. Brookdale advertised fairness and said they would do everything they could to make sure people followed the rules. However, when the **** started, no Brookdale employees were anywhere to be found in the field to ensure fairness. Hundreds of people left with nothing because of the lack of accountability from Brookdale. Went to give suggestions to the general manager, who encouraged suggestions, however, he just laughed in my face. People were cheating the entire time and Brookdale not only did nothing but didnt seem to care. Some of the prizes were candy and a lot of people didnt even leave with that because of Brookdales failure to ensure fairness, incorporate guidelines, and simply organize their event. Comments on social media platforms stated this event seemed like a repeat of the year prior, which leads me to believe that Brookdale doesnt even care about making things better for their customers but only collecting revenue, and as much as they can because the event was completely oversold. They should not be allowed to continue events like this, or any at all if they continue to repeat themselves with no improvements.
