Lets get the facts straight. 1. ********************* is not a registered guest that signed the paperwork upon check in. He was the guest they were trying to sneak in and night shift called up to ask them to pay for extra person. 2. They did not check in on 12/30/23, they checked in on FRIDAY NIGHT AT 3AM. Paid for Friday night and saturday night. 3. There was no complaints made on Friday night or Saturday morning, according to the night shift testimony and our log book. 4. They stayed all night and half the day Saturday. Came to desk after checkout time around 1:20pm to get refund. We have no refund policy. Headboard was not off the wall, it looked like someone tried to pry it off. 5. They were told, we can switch your room. They wanted refund because they thought they had room until Monday morning (3 night). Night shift clerk stated that She had informed the lady they are paying for friday night and saturday night and checkout would be Sunday. The girl signed the registration with checkout date on it. (*********************) was not with them upon check in, so he would not know. All the interaction was with the registered guest not ******. 6. All the people in room started cursing, so I walked out of the room and told them to notify us of what they decide. They never said they wanted to move to another room. 7. Spoke to the manager, and he stated no refund or partial because headboard was not off the wall when the guests checked into the room. 8. when guest checked out on 12/31/23, they destroyed the room. Pictures are available if needed. They are not allowed to step on Dexter Inn property and are on our Do not rent list. I do not feel comfortable sharing more details because this Guy is not a registered guest. I believe they thought that since they were coming in Friday night at 3am, they would get friday night free and not be charged for friday. According to the paperwork SHE signed, they were aware of the checkout date. Thank you for your time, and Have a Happy New Year.
