    To start we had an appointment with the salesman to bid a complete siding job on our ********* didnt show so I texted ******** said his family had the flu. He could have contacted us & let us know he wasnt coming considering it was a Saturday. We finally get the bid on the ********** came to ****** + dollars so my husband decided to hire them since they were highly recommended by our roofing company. When my husband went to write a check for the deposit we found out that the *************** was not included in the bid. I then called their office to speak with a manager about it because I didnt think it sounded right to vinyl side a house & not put up soffit and fascia. The receptionist was very nice & said she would have one of the 4 owners contact me about it but instead the salesman called me & was very defensive and rude & told me to use another company! Then I received an email not a phone call from one of the owners stating they didnt want our business and we were free to move on. I did not find this company professional in any way and would not recommend them to anyone.

    ***** has a 72-year history of providing quality workmanship and service to homeowners throughout our region. Unfortunately, we occasionally encounter homeowners that are very difficult to work with. This is one of those cases.The claim that our representative missed their Saturday appointment and then the homeowner texted him to ask why he didn't show is simply false. Our representative informed the homeowner that he had a child wake up with the Flu and needed to reschedule at 10am, well before their 1pm scheduled meeting.When our representative apologized for the inconvenience, the homeowner responded No inconvenience at all. Your family needs you right now and then asked for our representative to email them a quote for new siding for their ******* spite of the homeowner's kind words, on Monday morning, they called our office to complain about how they were inconvenienced and stated that our representative was unresponsive.Ironically, our representative had already made his top priority on Monday morning the completion of the siding quote that the homeowner had requested. He emailed that quote to the homeowner by 10am. Given how long it takes to figure pricing and write a proposal for an $18,000 siding project, I consider such a turnaround to be extraordinarily responsive.Regarding the homeowner's assumption *************** work is always included as part of a siding project, that idea is simply not accurate. ***** frequently takes on projects where we install siding without installing new ***************, and vice versa. Furthermore, the siding proposal that our representative provided made absolutely no mention of any *************** work, so there should have been no cause to assume that it was *********** the time that the homeowner called to question an owner or manager about their assumption, none of our staff felt comfortable working with them. The homeowner's behavior made us skeptical that either side would be happy with the end results.Consequently, out of a desire to save time and frustration for both the homeowner and ourselves, we felt it best to politely but firmly pass on the opportunity to work with them any further.The homeowner subsequently sent numerous messages in which they berated our staff as being unprofessional, made flatly incorrect claims, and stated that they were a victim that got thrown under a bus. While those messages confirmed to us that we had made the right decision, we nevertheless regret that the homeowner was upset by that decision, and we do wish them well.We thank the BBB for the opportunity to respond to this matter.Sincerely,**** ****** Owner, Manager
