CAUTION I took my camper for a full inspection prior to heading to Louisiana for hurricane relief work. Josh assured me they had checked every appliance. Paid $355. Arrived and hooked up the water....massive leak in back of the camper. I had to dry camp the 18 days. Returned the camper to Bourbon RV for repair with the assurance there would be no labor charges due to them missing the leak. The water heater was the source of the leak. This refuted the statement that "all appliances were in working order". Prior to picking up the camper, Josh assured me that he had personally checked everything including the tires. When I picked it up, there were labor charges on my bill. **** removed them at my insistence. I paid close to $1200. On my way to do hurricane relief in Georgia, there is an issue with the tires?! I've been stuck here 6 days while a repair shop worked on it. Three out of four tires were not seated tightly on the axle, and were 18 lbs lower than prescribed?! All this to say that the lack of integrity and good service at Bourbon RV is shocking. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

After reading your statement and reviewing our documents, I want to issue an apology regarding your water heater. That was something we should have caught. Your water heater was in by-pass mode when the tech did his inspection. He fired up the water heater and saw that it was working on LP and assumed that the tank would hold water. Again, he should have filled the tank to verify that.Since you felt that your negative review would benefit the general public, our response will give the public our side of the events that took place. On 9/25/24 your ** was brought to our dealership for an inspection. We were told the inspection was to make sure the ** would be ready to sell. Our tech spent one hour checking appliances and evaluating the overall condition of the **. Our labor rate is $149 an hour. The additional hour was to spot seal your roof, clean the furnace, and make a few minor repairs. There were some parts costs involved in the repairs. This brought your total up to $355.41. Again, that amount was more than just the inspection. We understand that you then took your ** to do disaster relief work. At that time you discovered that the water heater had a crack in the tank. When that was brought to our attention, we offered to replace the water heater. All you would pay is for parts, we would not charge any labor. That is exactly what we did. The replacement was more extensive than initially expected since the original water heater had been discontinued. It took extra parts and time to retrofit a new water heater to your **. We also replaced an outside shower. Again, all work done at zero labor cost to you.Regarding the issue with your tires which we understand occurred on your second trip to do relief work, our service manager, ****, stated that he inflated the tires to the ** manufacturer's specifications. This might be different that the *** ******** listed on the tires. Without a further explanation as to why it has taken 6 days for a tire shop to make the repairs, it really is impossible for us to comment. Most manufacturers recommend torqueing the lugnuts and checking tire pressure periodically as you travel.

My parents purchased a ************ in 2016 brand new off the lot. After 2 years they went back to tell them about the pleather peeling. She told them to buy new chairs. A couple years later they returned when the peeling was worse. There was no record of their first visit. Now it is out of warranty and they have done nothing to assist them with the problem. There is no way they could trade in this camper. They do not back the product they are selling.

First, we are sorry to hear that you and your parents are frustrated with the Jayco travel trailer purchased in February 2016. In fairness, we do want to address a few things mentioned in your comments. ***** does offer a two year warranty. During that two year period, ***** stands behind the craftsmanship and materials of their RVs. If we had been informed of the issues with the furniture while the unit was under warranty, those concerns could have been addressed. Your review states that Bourbon RV was first told of the problem "after two years", therefore, outside of Jayco's warranty period. Since the unit was already out of warranty, there was no reason for us to document the complaint. If you would like to speak with me personally regarding your issues, please call our dealership at ************. My name is ***************************. I am the General Manager of Bourbon RV.Here is a link to Jayco's warranty information:******************************************'s customer service can be contacted at ***************** or by phone: ************.
