    I hired Eagle One Security Inc. to wire our house and install a security camera system after being referred by a mutual acquaintance. I met with the owner, Brian G*******, and his son Gage. I arranged for them to install the wiring for a hard-wired camera system. The first time we got together after the wiring install, I offered to pay him for that part of the job, and wrote him a check (he hadn't even requested payment yet or sent an invoice). Then we discussed cameras and equipment. I asked for a detailed list of what cameras, the NVR, etc. he wanted to use. He dragged his feet. I pushed, and he finally emailed me the list. His labor price was apparently included in the item price, but that's not what I wanted. I wanted to see the labor cost separately so I had a true understanding what the system was going to cost me. I emailed him some comparisons for the identical products from Amazon, (some were significantly less). For three months he didn't even acknowledge my email. At the end of three months, right before our house was finished being built, I texted him to find out why he hadn't replied to my email. He sent a reply and told me he was officially ending our relationship because I was "high maintenance." Ya, I wanted a complete discussion of pricing before I paid him several thousand dollars, so that made me "high maintenance."
