I am sad to say my five-star review has only lasted weeks. I have reached out to Jacob via email and cell six times since the project was completed about a drainage issue. I did speak to Joann at the office and she confirmed that Jacob received my emails. Sadly that was on August 14th, and my recent phone calls to Joann are now being ignored.10/31/24

    There are two issues.
    1. We spent $24,000 on the landscaping project to reinstall retaining walls, paved sidewalk, among other items per contract, purchase and plant 5 10-foot Pines, 4 Upright Yews, 1 Maple tree, and 3 Hydrangea trees. You've been paid in full for this receiving $9,375 on June 15 but did not start the project until August.
    2. We hired you separately for general lawn care and fall cleanup. Your crew did not show up on several dates. The outstanding balance was for fall cleanup, which included deadheading of all perennial plants and decorative grasses per your contract. This part was never completed.
    Your following statements are false:
    1. “There was a leaking irrigation line that we were notified of last fall ... We came and repaired the irrigation this spring and repaired surrounding areas for no additional costs.”
Your crew cut the irrigation line when they layed down the paver pathway. Your crew showed up unannounced in July (not Spring), advising the line had been cut.
    2. “You were out of town for months at a time ... the trees were not watered or cared for properly. … The trees are also out of reach of irrigation systems.”
We were not out of town for months. Our irrigation system covers our entire yard and gardens. The dead tree is surrounded by perennial plants that flourished and a few feet away from another tree you planted that survived.
    3. “Generally we do come back to make repairs when we haven't been paid in full for previous work.” “We do offer a warranty but you were not offered one ... Even if you were your warranty would've been voided ...You did not take proper care of the tree and you have an over due balance.”
These statements are contradictory and make no sense. You were paid in full for the landscaping project. If you usually offer a warranty, why were we not offered one?
Your crew was courteous -- your customer service is severely lacking.
At the end of the day, all I can say is Buyer Beware!

They do not stand behind their guarantee on workmanship or product replacement. It is very frustrating working with their lack of communication. They don't return calls in a timely fashion.

****, Lets get the record straight. You have had an outstanding balance with us since Nov 17, 2023. Your outstanding balance is for $554.88.There was a leaking irrigation line that we were notified of last fall after the landscaping season was over. We came and repaired the irrigation this spring and repaired surrounding areas for no additional costs. Sounds to me like we stood behind our work there.... keep in mind you still had an overdue balance at this point from work completed last fall. Generally we do come back to make repairs when we haven't been paid in full for previous work. The tree: no where in our service agreement or quotes is a one year warranty mentioned. We do offer a warranty but you were not offered one. Had we offered you a warranty it would've mentioned that you are responsible for the care of the tree and that we make the final decision on the free replacement based on what our evaluation of the tree tells us. You were out of town for months at a time leading me to assume that the trees were not watered or cared for properly. Trees will most certainly die if they are not cared for. The trees are also out of reach of irrigation systems so you would have needed to water them by hand on a regular basis. Most importantly you had an unpaid balance long before this tree died. You do not get additional work done when you owe money. You did not hire us to grow and take care of the trees. Your hired us to plant the trees. You were not offered a warranty. Even if you were your warranty would've been voided for two reasons: You did not take proper care of the tree and you have an over due balance from long before the tree died.
