The owner does not have an empathy or concern about customer complaints. In the bid I was suppose to receive the driveway grass edged, it was not. They were suppose to repair all cracks, they did not. They were suppose to come out and review the project the next available day was 9/25 which is a Sunday and job was done on 9/15. Owner ***** would give me no discount on bill or additional time to pay even though I am a dissatisfied customer. He said he has a video which he will not provide, I also asked for my driveway measurements, which has no sent me. I think he is ripping off the customers by not coming in person to measure the drive, explain what will be done. Communication was horrible they sent email appointment was canceled and they showed disrupting my day and I had to leave a meeting to get truck out of garage. When I asked him for full name he refused to compile. He threatened me with legal verbiage. I paid but very unhappy with this company and its way of doing businessDriveway Envy

Please see our response to your multiple inaccuracies. With over 3K happy customer interactions & *****+ satisfied customers in 2022 alone, we are bound to run into a customer like ****. With nearly 300+ 5 star reviews across all platforms, I think it is safe to say that we are a reputable, honest, and transparent company. It was clear from the beginning from the voicemail that you left - that you were only after 1 thing, and that was getting a free service. ******* 155, 5 star **************** 43+ Recommendations Groupon: 49, 5 star reviews It is not surprising to see your review, based on how you screamed and yelled at the top of your lungs on the phone. It was very aggressive and disrespectful. For what its worth - we received 2, 5 star reviews from customers that had their driveways completed by the same crew on the same date of service as you.We pride ourselves on working with our customers and being as empathetic and transparent as possible. We take all concerns seriously - just like we did with you. The quote that you received covers our 5 step process and every step of that process was completed. In the images you uploaded to ******* you can clearly see that the sides of your asphalt are fully exposed. This is not possible unless edging is completed - as you will find in our proposal, it states that edging is completed to ensure that all parts of the asphalt are able to be sealed. In the photos you uploaded - all asphalt is exposed and all asphalt is sealed. Our proposal also states that all major cracks that sealcoating will not seal, will be filled. That is exactly what was done. Neither crack filling product or sealcoating emulsion is able to change the texture of the surface - as that is not its purpose. When we promptly responded to your voicemail and requested photos be sent to us - we followed up with a date of service for you for that very same week. You told us that date would not work for you. We rescheduled and communicated that new date to you - and you told us you had another company come out and take care of it and you requested that we take you off our schedule. There was no request for payment until you cancelled your follow up service with us. If we are not given the opportunity to work with you through your concerns and you sever all communication and ties with us, then it is only fair that we request payment at that time. As we stated - all of our jobs are recorded on site with a camera attached to the rig. The crew also takes before and after photos of the project. The before and after photos were so great, that they were sent to the marketing team to showcase on our website and social media platforms. As we stated - we have proof that every step of the process that was quoted, was completed. You asked for us to take $ off the bill because you stated that driveway edging was not completed. Not only do we have visual proof of that/recording, but you also proved it in the photos that you uploaded to ******* In addition - we do not charge for driveway edging or crack filling services. All driveways are quoted based on the location of project, the size of the driveway, the condition of the driveway, and how many other projects we have in the area (savings based on logistics). We told you that if we we had to come up with a price for the edging - it might be $5 **** as it takes the crew about a minute or so on each side to edge the driveway from the top to bottom, on a driveway as small as yours. We have far too many requests and jobs that come in on a daily basis to calculate the cost for edging per driveway on a quote. COMMUNICATION - is far above and beyond any other ******************* in the metro area. Please, read all the reviews we have about exceptional communication. We follow the same process for all of the 100+ projects we complete each week. You received an email on Sept 10 regarding your date of service. We sent you 4 additional emails, 2 calls/VMs, & 2 texts that week to exhaust all options to confirm your service. You did not respond to any of our 8 attempts to confirm your appointment - so, we sent 1 final email on the morning of your service to tell you that if we did not hear from you within the next 60 mins we would take you off that day's schedule. You replied to the email & said yes you are confirming your appointment.Upon reviewing the footage from the crew's rig-you were outside moving your vehicle as the crew pulled into your cul-de-sac. You were prepared for the crew's arrival & made no mention to the crew of being interrupted or being surprised that the crew was there. You knew we were coming, you confirmed your appointment, you were outside and ready to go before the crew arrived, you expressed no concern to them, and you asked them how to make payment when the service was done. IN PERSON QUOTE Just about all of our 5 star reviews indicate that part of their review was for the value received. We are highly competitive and are able to be less expensive than most other companies out there, as we are not a franchise - we own all aspects of our business. We are certainly not ripping people off. If you did not think the price that was quoted was a far rate - then you should not have approved your proposal and agreed to do business with us. We use a software system, specific to asphalt companies to view property details, asphalt conditions, & square footage. If an in person visit was required to provide an accurate quote, we would have done so. An in person quote would have yielded the same result. If you were concerned about an in person visit you could have requested a review before you approved your work ************** the contract to do business with us. You did not ask any questions nor did you state any concerns about the quote. The quote that we sent you explained, in detail, the service that would be provided and the price for that service. In addition to that - the quote also explicitly states to reach out for any additional questions or concerns. The email and automated follow up emails also provide very clear language that if you would like to discuss any detail - you can call us or email us and we would be happy to discuss. A quote was given to you on August 17th and you opened it, reviewed it, and approved it on August 18th. When you approved the quote - there was a 2 step process that you completed. When you clicked approve - there was a very clear message that stated you agreed to the terms and conditions of the proposal, which are: "This quote is valid for year 2022. Prices are subject to change in future years. By approving this quote you agree to pay the total quoted amount in exchange for the outlined/quoted services upon completion. Payment is due in full upon completion of the work/services provided. A $25 late fee will be applied for invoices 15 or more days overdue."There was never an email, a text message, phone call, or voicemail with any questions regarding your proposal. In fact, you reviewed it and approved it all within 3 minutes time from open to approval on August 18th. When you stated you were going to the Attorney General and filing a compliant with the state of Minnesota, we passed off all details of you and your account to our legal team. They reviewed and provided us with a message to send you - and we did just that. The message indicated that since you cancelled our follow-up service with you to address your concerns and we had documented evidence (video proof) of completing all steps quoted in the proposal - that because you approved the proposal and agreed to a contract and its terms and conditions - you needed to pay for services rendered. After providing all relevant information/evidence to you, you promptly paid your bill after receiving the message and documentation. As you can see from all of the reviews that are publicly available - for just about every complaint you expressed, there are 200+ people that state the complete opposite. Like we said above - it's clear what you were after, which was a free service. We have a very strong reputation, operate with transparency and integrity, and we keep very accurate records of all of our customers. We have and will never have anything to hide. We don't run a business as a hobby - we are a bonified operation and we stand behind our team. We defend ourselves against people like you - because we know the difference between right and wrong and have no problem clearly laying it out. When we make mistakes, we own them and do right by our customers. This was not the case in your situation. Please see our responses to the additional concerns you expressed on ******* below: RUSHED JOB Your driveway is 3 years old which allows us to work through it more efficiently than driveways that need more cleaning/prep before the sealcoating process. As we explained to you on the phone - we have an audio and visual setup on the rig that allows us to have insight into every job from beginning to end. The crew spent 35 minutes on your very small, clean, & great condition driveway. It was not rushed.ACCOUNTABILITY When you called to express concern about a crack that you thought was missed, we called you back & communicated that there would be a follow up visit by a crew to walk through the driveway with you & address your concerns. There was no refusal to view the property in person. We asked you to send photos of the concern so we could get the right person, equipment, & supplies there to handle it. When you sent us the photos we promptly responded, telling you that we added a stop for a crew to address your concerns. That work order was communicated to you via ************* YOU CANCELLED THE VISIT that was scheduled 2 days after your inquiry.YOUR PHOTOS reflect fully exposed asphalt to the grass - which is not possible without edging. The asphalt is also FULLY sealed to the grass, exactly how it should be.COMMUNICATION We follow the same process for all of the 100+ projects we complete each week. You received an email on Sept 10 regarding your date of service. We sent you 4 additional emails, 2 calls/VMs, & 2 texts that week to exhaust all options to confirm your service. You were prepared for the crew's arrival & made no mention of being interrupted or being surprised that the crew was there. When we spoke on the phone, the only question to you regarding your meeting was the start time to ensure that you were not late. However, you continued to ask questions & answers were provided.IN PERSON QUOTE We use a software system, specific to asphalt companies to view property details, asphalt conditions, & square footage. If an in person visit was required to provide an accurate quote, we would have done so. An in person quote would have yielded the same result. If you were concerned about an in person visit you could have requested a review before you approved your work ************** the contract to do business with us. You did not ask any questions nor did you state any concerns about the quote.SEALCOATING PRODUCT Sealcoating is not meant to be thick as too thick of a product would cause peeling/flaking/cracking. Sealcoating is meant to bind to the asphalt ************** it like saran wrap. It is not meant to change the surface texture /remove surface irregularities. The product we use is thicker than Jet-Blacks - as it contains sand + silica for durability. Jet Black would have been more $, been a blue/gray ****** ********* coat than ours.We can send the audio of all phone communication, all emails (w/ read receipt dates/times), & recording from the rig that shows your interactions with the crew & a recording of the work.We believe that upon reviewing -you would realize that your comments in this review are not based on facts.Marty Q

***** the owner is a liar. Service done on 9/15, next appointment communicated was scheduled for 9/25. That is not prompt and it is clear by the response he is full of defenses. I have requested several times the video and my driveway measurement. He does not respond since I have paid my invoice, which I requested a discount for the lack of service quoted and the poor quality. I will never hire a company that does not do in person bids, and claim to be flawless. He has more time to write lengthy false replies than to satisfy an unhappy customer. He is a jerk
